Kazakhstan is a large country with an area ranked 9th in the world, bordering Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, known as a land of majestic nature that can experience many types of terrain at the same time. It is a peaceful steppe or a barren desert, a dense forest or a beautiful lake along the Tianshan range, a zigzag mountain slope or a million-year-old stone canyon. All seem to converge in the land of Almaty in southeastern Kazakhstan, and the city of Almaty is often the starting point for a journey to these interesting surprises.
Almaty is located in the Alatau Mountains outside of Ili, and was once a territory of China during the Qing Dynasty. After the establishment of Kazakhstan, it was also the capital of the country for a period of time. Due to the abundant production of apples in the suburbs, Almaty is also known as the "Apple City". 🍎
As the largest member state of the former Soviet Union, here you can not only see modern skyscrapers and experience the ethnic customs of Central Asia, but also see many marks left by the Soviet era. 🏢
Recommended attractions are as follows, it is suggested to take two to three days for sightseeing. 📝
Day one, you can visit the following attractions, the first four are within walking distance. 🚶🏻
1️⃣Ascension Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox church located in Panfilov Park in the city center. It is the second tallest wooden structure church in the world and the only surviving ground building after the 1911 Almaty earthquake. After the renovation of the interior a few years ago, visitors can now enter and visit the church. It is also recommended to visit the 28 Panfilov Heroes Memorial in the park.⛪️
2️⃣Green Bazzar is a traditional market where local residents purchase food and daily necessities. Various freshly squeezed fruit juices can be tasted in the market. 🍇
3️⃣️Central Mosque is a religious place where people worship, and female visitors are required to wear headscarves. 🕌️
4️⃣️Albert Street is a typical shopping street with music performances and shops selling oil paintings on the side of the street. It's a great place to stroll around and have a cup of coffee in your leisure time. 🏞️
5️⃣️Take the cable car from the foot of Kok Tobe Park to see the panoramic view of Almaty and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. It is also a great place to watch the sunset, and it is recommended to arrive around 4pm. If the cable car is not in operation, you can purchase a bus ticket at the front desk to go up the mountain. 🌄
6️⃣️The Kazakhstan Hotel is located near the entrance of Kok Tobe and has always been the most luxurious hotel in Kazakhstan during the Soviet era. The exterior design is very unique, and if you like the Soviet architectural style, you can take a walk and enjoy it. 🏨
On the second day, you can visit the following attractions 🚶🏻
1️⃣The National Museum of China mainly displays the ancient and modern history of China, with not many cultural relics but worth spending one or two hours to understand the culture of China. 🏛️
2️⃣️Independence Square, a memorial square built after the independence in 1999, is a ten-minute walk from the museum. 📷
3️⃣️The National Art Museum has unexpectedly diverse collections of paintings, sculptures, and crafts, including a Chinese porcelain exhibition hall. 🖼️

Live towards the sun! Everywhere you look, there are sunflowers
Sharing the stunning scenery of Kazakhstan.
We flew from Beijing to Almaty, then from Almaty to Oskemen. This is on the way from Oskemen to Katon-Karagai National Park. A stretch of road that spans several dozen kilometers, all covered with sunflowers.

The first meal in Almaty, Kazakhstan
Dinner time~
Beijing-Almaty-Öskemen First meal
It has a bit of a local 'Michelin' feel.
The prices in East Kazakhstan are really reasonable~
I also highly recommend the outdoor environment here. Wooden villas under the blue sky and white clouds, surrounded by babbling streams, the feeling of dining and drinking tea in the big forest is fantastic
The only thing to note is that the signal here is generally weak, so there might be intermittent disconnections haha Kazakhstan·Asia

Café 'Obzhorkin', the Dessert Haven of Kazakhstan
Wow...
It's a dessert cafe with delicious bread.
They also serve brunch...
There are coffees and special drinks that only Kazakh people enjoy...
They have a unique blend of flavors and aromas...
I'm just so-so, so I went with a cappuccino...
The bread called 'pen cake' is served warm and tasty because it's baked on the spot.
Their pen cakes are more similar to crepe bread...
So it's even more delicious when dipped in condensed milk... LOL
As much as the locals call this place a paradise...
With its spacious cafe and beautiful interior...
And the delicious cappuccinos...
Here, they use fresh milk, which makes the cappuccinos even tastier...
Highly recommended...

Kazakhstan's visa is well known and difficult to get, but this time because of the World Expo, it deliberately gave the traveler a three-day but I did not expect the entry to be so troublesome...
I handed the passport to the immigration officer He turned it over and then stared at me and said, "Visa?" I said: "72hours

Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakh: ), referred to as Kazakhstan. It is a landlocked country in Central Asia and the largest landlocked country in the world. The name of the country comes from its main ethnic Kazakh.
In this place where there are not many tourists, I feel the curiosity and alienation from the locals, but there are also young guys and elderly couples who are on the roadside to help me take a taxi to the airport, even if I don't have I have enough money but also took me to the airport. I know that I am a Chinese and also sent me a World Expo brooch Jeep owner...
At the same time, the price of this place is really suitable for the compatriots who are traveling poorly! I have two hundred RMB in the local area for three days! This country, which is not very keen on tourism, has brought me unexpected surprises~

When I came to the Zhanat Antler Sanatorium in East Kazakhstan, I was immediately attracted by the deer that was scattered behind the house. It was good for recuperation. Almost all the projects were carried out around deer blood, using antlers and deer blood. Adjusting the food outside the house, together with the conditioning of the deer blood bath, is especially helpful for people's health.
