Kazo City in Saitama Prefecture. Have you ever been there? I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even know the name. A friend recommended it to me, and I went there, and it's a really wonderful place, and I fell in love with it! I was soothed by the beautiful townscape rich in nature, the clean air, and the solemn atmosphere of the park and shrine. Located in Kazo City, Kisai, 'Okayasu Noodle Factory' specializes in producing udon, soba, ramen, and more 🍜. Their 'Bocchi Udon' is truly delicious 😋🍴💕. Since it's already boiled, it's super convenient and ready to eat right away 😁. Each serving is 230g, which is slightly more than usual, but you'll find yourself finishing it in no time 😁. You can make your own soup to pair with it, or choose from a variety of single-serving soups sold in the store ✌. Picking your favorite soup is part of the fun 🤩. The store is bustling with regular customers coming in to buy udon. Some even leave with their hands full of udon and soba 💦. Of course, I also bought Bocchi Udon ✌. Additionally, I picked up their ramen 🍜🍥, which I absolutely love. I got a pack with two servings 😃✌. The ramen has a light and nostalgic 'Shina Soba' flavor 🍜🍥. While it's great with lots of toppings, it's equally delicious with just green onions as a garnish 😋🍴💕. Kugeya Shuhei in Kazo City!! I went there a long time ago, but... I suddenly remembered it and went there again today after a long time 😁 The restaurant opens at 11:00 Customers were arriving one after another even before opening time, and a line was forming in front of the store 💦 I immediately joined the line... When the meal arrived, there were sesame seeds and shiso leaves in the bowl. A small roadside station 😁 They sell local vegetables and delicious Kitakawabe rice 🍚. I was surprised at how cheap spinach was at 75 yen including tax 💴! 👀‼️ I immediately grabbed two bunches (lol). Freshly harvested local vegetables are so delicious, aren't they? 😋 They also have a restaurant where you can try their specialty, "Kazo Udon" 🍜. It was before opening time, so I only looked at the menu... I visited "Arare-chan House" in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture. This is a factory-direct store selling persimmon seeds, rice crackers, and more! ‼️ Apparently, they also have a chocolate factory in Chiba. 🍫 The building isn't particularly large, but the store is overflowing with small packets of rice crackers! 😁 Their product names are also unique (lol). Tamashiki Shrine in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This shrine was founded in 703 by Tosando pacification envoy Tajihi no Masato Miyake no Ma. There is also a theory that it was founded by his elder brother Takahi no Mikoto in 136. In 1574, when Uesugi Kenshin dispatched troops to the Kanto region, the shrine was burned down and not only the shrine building but also ancient documents and treasures were burned. Therefore, the details are unknown. Rebuilt in the Edo period in front of the main gate of Kisai Castle in Negoya Village, Saitama County (now Negoya, Kazo City). It is believed to have been moved to its current location around 1627.
