We took a 3-day, 4-night trip (really just two full days of activity) and it was the ideal balance between relaxation and exploration. 📅 Itinerary Day1: Phnom Penh to Kampot The drive took just 3–4 hours. We didn’t pack anything hectic into the day—just grabbed a coffee at Starbucks Kampot and chilled there with a river view. Great way to ease into the trip. Day2: Bokor Mountain Adventure We headed up Bokor Mountain. It was misty and cold, giving everything a magical vibe. We explored the Vietnamese-Chinese temple, Buddha statues, and some old French colonial ruins. The mountain view is absolutely worth the ride—breathtaking, even in the haze. Day3: Seaside in Kep A quick 40-minute ride brought us to Kep Beach where we relaxed and soaked up the coastal calm. We had lunch at The Wave Kep West—the view? Stunning. The food? Delicious. It’s a little on the pricey side (around $200 for 6 people), but honestly, it was worth every dollar. Day4:Easy Drive Back No rush. #familytrips2024 Kep city is about 30 mins by car from Kampot. We took a boat across to Kaoh Tonsay (Rabbit Island), USD25 for a private boat (max 6 pax). The island is beautiful, peaceful and with a nice beach and clear waters. Met a nice lady who owns chalets on the beach, Simone, had a delicious lunch at her restaurant, fresh fish, Khmer style soup n noodles. The island gets v busy on weekends though with local tourists according to people we met in Kampot. Drove by the crab market but did not stop

I recently visited the beautiful , calm beach found in Kep, Cambodia. lovely to swim in and have a relaxing day. Not far from the beach you will find the crab market where you can eat fresh seafood 🤤. Kep is a very slow, peaceful town and worth visiting when in Cambodia🇰🇭 . There are also plenty of other restaurants to choose from for delicious meals. A ferry is also available to go to Rabbit island which can be seen from Kep beach. Unfortunately I never had enough time to also go to Rabbit Island. #newyearadventure #tripblazers #beachlife

We came here for a restful time and the staff and the owner were very good to us. The rooms were very nice and the views are gorgeous. They are pet friendly which is one of the many reasons we chose this place. There are two lovely pools and the breakfast included is very nice. It is just a restful relaxing place. We have come here often during the many years we have lived in Cambodia. Nice place to stay on holiday with a nice view. Just a small thing that I wanted to complain about. My friends and I were treated and asked like we are not the guests by a few staff. We are really not happy about it. Staff should be well trained to treat guests more politely at a good resort like this.

Sothy’s is a locally owned pepper farm with tours and a restaurant. The tour is very informative and gives you an understanding of how pepper is grown and the variety flavors. Lunch was good in a pleasant setting. The gift shop has everything pepper you will want and packaged for taking home on your flight.
