Route 66: Iconic Highway
SAVE THIS! ⭐️General: Do not get an electric car because we wasted quite a bit of time finding charging points and waiting for the Tesla to fully charge.
⭐️Antelope Canyons: It is mandatory to book a tour for the Canyons. We chose Upper instead of Lower because it’s more picturesque and mostly flat while in Lower, you had to descend and ascend equivalent to 3-4 flights of stairs with ladders during the 600 meters walk. We booked a 1.5 hour tour but it only lasted 1 hour because we took a ride to and from the meet up point. Book a photography tour instead if you’d like to spend more time taking pictures. 1 hour was too short!
⭐️Horseshoe Bend: The hike to the viewpoint is about 2.4km round trip. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. For the best photos, wide-angle lens are important to capture the entire bend in the river.
⭐️Grand Canyon: We chose South Rim instead of West Rim as the West is closer to Las Vegas so we could do a West Rim Helicopter ride next time we’re in Vegas. Besides, it is less developed and offers fewer amenities and viewpoints compared to the South Rim.
It is $35 per private vehicle for a pass valid for 7 days. With 20 viewpoints accessible by vehicle, Mather Point, Yavapai Point, and Desert View are the best viewpoints.
Use the free shuttle services available to explore different viewpoints without the hassle of driving and parking.

The city of Kingman is small, but there is a great road through it, which is Route 66, which is called the Mother's Road by the Americans.
As the most important land transportation lifeline in the United States in the first half of the 20th century, Route 66 has spread to the world with American culture and has become the most scenic road in the world. Although Highway 66 is not a complete road now, it consists of several different sections, including highways, general roads, urban roads, and even some unpaved country roads. However, their scenery is In the same vein, both sides are mostly endless corn fields. In the vast fields, several large trees are scattered in the middle, full of western style.

🇺🇸US Route 66 100th Anniversary Drive🇺🇸
Route 66 will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026.
This road that crosses the American landscape is the perfect driving road to experience America's car-oriented society!
In particular, Arizona is home to Seligman, the town where the revival of Route 66 began.
It's a small town that takes just three minutes to drive through, but it's a charming town with a lot of character.
Angel & Vilma Delgadillo's Original Route 66 Gift Shop
This is the former beauty salon of Angel, who played a key role in the revival of Route 66, now a souvenir shop.
In addition to souvenirs, the shop also features autographs of famous people who have visited from around the world. With a wide selection of items, it's a great place to pick up a souvenir to commemorate your visit to Route 66.
Next, we'll be visiting Kingman, a town about an hour and a half drive from Seligman.
We also recommend the diner here, Mr. D's Route 66 Diner!
The atmosphere inside the shop will make you feel like you've traveled back in time to the good old days of America!
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Our recommendation is the "homemade root beer"!!
"It's homemade right here!" the staff member recommended, and even gave me a refill!
Also, if you're driving Route 66, taking a commemorative photo with the road sign is probably one of your dreams, right?
But for those who can't quite find it, I'll share the locations of the signs I found while driving, so why not give it a try?
34.8178193, -115.1827843
It's located near the gas station off Interstate 40's "Goffs Rd."
It's also available at the following locations:
34.9418521, -114.8267872
Arrowhead Junction
In celebration of the 100th anniversary, why not take a drive and reflect on history? #Route66

🇺🇸The comfortable Arizona Inn motel in Kingman, USA🇺🇸
When you're road traveling in America, you're bound to see motels.
They're a vital part of the car-centric infrastructure, offering affordable accommodation for drivers.
One motel I highly recommend is located in Kingman.
It's called the Arizona Inn!
While motels can vary greatly in quality, this one has a very warm and friendly owner, the rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable!
There's plenty of hot water, so you won't have to worry about cold showers!
There are restaurants, diners, and a gas station nearby, and it's conveniently located right off the interstate exit!

If you're looking for a reliable motel, I highly recommend this one!

Three girls' West Coast road trip Day 8 - Part 2
The final destination on the eighth day was "Kingman." After checking the navigation, we passed through Grand Canyon National Park. With plenty of time, of course, we couldn't miss such a stunning attraction.
We drove from Page to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to enter the park, chose one route to explore, and after touring, exited from the South Rim and returned to Kingman.
⭐️ ◦South Rim: This is the most popular and well-equipped area, open year-round. There are many viewpoints here, and you can take free shuttle buses to easily reach several of the best viewing spots to enjoy the most classic and spectacular scenery of the Grand Canyon. (This time, due to limited time, we drove the whole way and walked some small trails.)
⭐️ Geological History Textbook: The rock layers of the Grand Canyon record about 2 billion years of Earth's geological changes. It is called a "living geological history textbook" and is an excellent place to experience the wonders of nature.
⭐️ If you are not afraid of heights, you can choose to take a helicopter tour. Flying over the Grand Canyon by helicopter is definitely an unforgettable experience in your life. Viewing this "scar of the Earth" from the air is magnificent and magical in a way that ground tours cannot compare to. But be especially aware that the wind is very strong, and it can be quite shaky up there... A friend's mother vomited several times after her helicopter ride last time, and since I also get airsick, after careful consideration, we all gave up the helicopter this time.
If you are planning a trip to the American West, Grand Canyon National Park is definitely a hidden gem that will instantly make your social media posts look "high-end." This natural wonder, known as the "Earth's giant scar," looks like a blockbuster photo no matter how you snap it.

🚗 Route 66 - Kingman|A trip along Route 66 in the United States
Known as the "Heart of Route 66," Kingman is a must-see town on any road trip through the American Southwest.
It retains a rich nostalgic atmosphere and is not only a vital stopover on classic road trips, but also a place where travelers can experience the "American road culture."
Upon arrival in Kingman, the most striking attraction is the large Route 66 sign.
Designed specifically for tourists, it allows visitors to drive directly into the photo zone, capturing the iconic "Route 66" moment—a truly Instagrammable scene!
The "66" sign is everywhere in Kingman, whether it's graffiti on the walls, street signs, or shop signs, all imbued with a nostalgic atmosphere.
There are numerous souvenir shops, restaurants, and cafes selling Route 66-themed merchandise, and the abundance of vintage American cars creates a sense of time travel.

Five Guys: A Must-Try Burger Spot on My U.S. Trip
Although Five Guys has opened locations in Seoul and Gyeonggi in Korea, as someone living in the countryside, I decided to try the original Five Guys burger during my trip to the U.S.!
I was looking forward to ordering a milkshake and dipping my fries in it, but unfortunately, the Kingman location doesn't sell milkshakes out of consideration for the Vera store right next door. 😢
Still, the Five Guys burger was absolutely delicious! The caramelized grilled onions and the juicy patty made for a rich and heavy burger flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed.
If In-N-Out Burger gives off a fresh vibe, Five Guys offers a heavier, greasier taste that truly embodies the essence of America—a fantastic burger experience!

Southwest USA Roadtrip Adventure: From Lights to Red Rocks
#transportation
Embarking on a roadtrip through the American Southwest was one of the most unforgettable journeys I’ve ever taken. I kicked things off in Las Vegas, where the neon lights, themed hotels, and late-night energy set the tone for an exciting start. After exploring the Strip and grabbing some iconic photos, I left the city’s buzz behind and headed toward nature.
First stop: Hoover Dam. Standing on the state line between Nevada and Arizona, this engineering marvel was as impressive as I’d imagined. After a quick visit and some scenic views of Lake Mead, I continued the drive into the vast desert landscape toward the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. No photo could do justice to the view from the edge – it's humbling, majestic, and deeply peaceful.
From there, I made my way to Sedona, a place that completely surprised me with its vibrant red rock formations and spiritual vibe. I hiked trails with breathtaking vistas, explored local shops, and enjoyed the calm pace compared to the big city energy.
The final leg brought me to Phoenix, where the desert heat welcomed me with open arms. I spent time visiting local attractions and relaxing under palm trees, ending the roadtrip on a warm and sunny note. This journey offered a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and culture – a true taste of the American Southwest.

A must-drive in your lifetime: Route 66 in the United States
Fly from Taiwan to Los Angeles, and find a motorcycle rental company - Eagle Rider, the largest Harley motorcycle rental company in the United States. The service process is simple, fast and professional, but it costs money (15% tax + insurance for the total price).
Itinerary: Ride from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, rest for a night, visit the casino, eat delicious food and experience bars, which is also quite expensive. Continue to go south to the Kingman Museum to check in and take pictures. The B&B is relatively old, and the breakfast service is OK. After getting up the next day, head north to the Hoover Dam. Motorcycles can be ridden in for free, of course, check in and take pictures here.
The subsequent US Route 66 itinerary will be shared with you!

This hotel is located close to the freeways There are many fast food restaurants near by so if that's what your looking for it's here. There is an amazing Mexican food restaurant right down the street, my favorite by far. Downtown is the Powerhouse Museum which is kid friendly and pretty great. Also downtown is the Train park. It is an old locomotive that the family can get on and check out. There are bench's and beautiful grassy areas to relax and have a picnic or take a blanket and take the family and just relax.
💰Average Price per Person: $60-$80

Kingman (Mohave: Huwaalyapay Nyava[3]) is a city in central Arizona, United States, and the county seat of Mohave County.
The city has an area of 30.0 square miles (77.70 km2) and no water.
Kingman has a semiarid climate with high summer temperatures, which can reach above 90 °F (32 °C), and relatively low winter temperatures, which can reach below zero. The highest rainfall was in 1919, with 21.22 inches (539 mm), while the highest snowfall was in 1949, with 18.2 inches (0.46 m).
I accidentally entered the restaurant and later learned that this restaurant was praised by Oprah. Mr.Dz root beer floot, a unique shop, has the opportunity to have a taste and it is delicious. In the 1930s, Mr. Dz was a gas station and later became a small restaurant. Soon it was known for its homemade McGontal soda designed by its founders. Meghan soda has attracted many tourists, and even the famous host Oprah (Oprah) has also come here. The best thing to eat here is the French fries, and of course the burgers are also very good. There are a lot of motorcycles that have been pulled out of the store. Old America is very fond of such a smart driving style.

There are a lot of scrapped license plates in the Route 66 museum.
It can be seen that different states in the United States have different styles of licenses
license plates, which is a digital sign for many people, but the American license plates are unique.
The US license plate is issued by the state governments. To highlight its characteristics,
states use the state's symbolic patterns or propaganda words to decorate the license plate,
to express their love for their hometown. It gives people the opportunity to see the history, culture and customs of the 50 states in the United States.
The earliest license plates in the United States have only numbers, no patterns and propaganda words.
Until 1928, Idaho pioneered the local production of potatoes on the state's license plate,
and proudly added: "famous potatoes." After
, other states in the United States have followed suit and formed the current situation.
The classic in American license plates is the Wyoming license plate.
Wyoming is located in the western United States and is the hometown of cowboys who represent the United States in pioneering, unrestrained, and bloody spirits.
The film "Broken Mountain" directed by Oscar's best director, Ang Lee, is based on the state.
Wyoming also has the world's first national natural park, Yellowstone Park.
On the state of the license plate, the beauty of Yellowstone Park is set against the unrestrained cowboy, full of flavor.
The Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, is engraved with the heads of the four presidents who made outstanding contributions to the independence and development of the United States.
