Introducing the Whirst Observatory
#Observation Deck
Introducing the fantastic place, the Whirst Observation Deck
The Whirst Observation Deck boasts an altitude of about 3,000m
The photo is really like a painting. After all, the photo of the Whirst Observation Deck is prettier than Jungfrau. The path up to the observation deck is also like a painting. Even without any editing, the photo feels unrealistically wonderful
If you have a chance, definitely go to the Whirst Observation Deck.

Lakeside Bliss in Spiez, Switzerland
#mytraveldiary
My trip to Spiez felt like stepping into a picture-perfect postcard. This little town sits right on the shores of Lake Thun, surrounded by vineyards and the snowy Bernese Alps in the background. I loved strolling along the lakeside promenade, where the calm blue water reflected the mountains so beautifully. The highlight was seeing Spiez Castle, standing proudly above the lake with such a fairytale vibe. It was also amazing to just sit by the harbor, watching sailboats drift by while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Spiez had this perfect mix of nature, history, and relaxation, quiet, charming, and exactly the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe.

Grindelwald – A Postcard Village in the Heart of the Alps
#cityplaybook
#familytrip #localguides #stunningview #postandearn
Grindelwald isn’t just a destination—it’s an emotion. Tucked deep in the Bernese Alps, this idyllic village is the kind of place that makes you believe in fairy tales. With rolling green meadows, towering mountains, and cozy wooden chalets, Grindelwald offers peace, adventure, and picture-perfect Swiss charm in every corner.
The moment I arrived, the dramatic backdrop of the Eiger North Face took my breath away. It’s one of Europe’s most iconic peaks, and it looms over the village like a silent guardian. Whether you’re here for adrenaline or serenity, Grindelwald delivers both with grace.
One of my most unforgettable experiences was riding the Eiger Express gondola to the Jungfraujoch—the “Top of Europe.” Up there, glaciers stretch to the horizon, and you can step inside an ice palace carved deep into the mountain. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
For hikers, the First Cliff Walk and Bachalpsee Lake trail are pure magic. I started at Grindelwald First, where a sky-high cliff walk had my heart racing—then hiked to Bachalpsee, a mirror-like alpine lake reflecting snow-dusted peaks. It was peaceful, pristine, and surreal.
Best Time to Visit:
Summer (June–September): For hiking, biking, and lush green views.
Winter (December–March): Ideal for skiing, snowboarding, and winter wonderland vibes.
Travel Tips:
Stay overnight for sunrises that light up the Eiger in pink and gold.
Rent a Trottibike (mountain scooter) to cruise down the hills like a local!
Try Swiss specialties like fondue and alpine cheese at traditional lodges.
Location:
Grindelwald, Canton of Bern, Switzerland

On the road, the sunrise and the sunset, the safe arrival of the next shelter is the only task of the day. Standing in the mountains between the mountains and the mountains, the mind will not squeeze into any troubles of the world. At this moment, the only idea is to "stand firm this step and take the next step". This is just a thought. If we compare our minds to water, our minds are like the waves, the name, the profit, the health, the emotions, the past and the past, and the waves of the past have not started. At this time, on the mountain, the mind is like a lake without wind. I dare not say that it is calm and unsatisfactory. It is also the peace of mind that people have lived and fell to their hearts, making people feel nostalgic.

It was long ago that people did not dare to try to climb the peak of the Alps because of superstition. In 1786, people began to explore and climb in the Alps. The mountaineering in the next 100 years was popular here, and it was called the golden age of the Alps until Around 1865, almost all the peaks above 4,000 meters above sea level have been conquered one by one. People even think that the "Golden Age" may be over, but the mountaineers have begun to try more difficult routes, snow slopes, Rock walls and ice walls challenge everything impossible. This type of mountaineering and attitude was later brought to the top of the world, known as "Alpine Mountaineering" and "Alpine Spirit." The emergence of the "Alpine Spirit" brought people from the initial stage of challenging numbers to a whole new level. In the eyes of climbers, the "Alpine spirit" means the attitude of facing difficulties, independence and respect for the mountains...

The Alps you want to see, the world you want to see does not live up to your late favor.
