Rainforestation Nature Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The oldest tropical rainforest in the world
The Wet Tropics of Queensland, a World Natural Heritage site since 1988, covers an area of 8,940 square kilometers🌳 and includes many national parks, including the Kuranda Tropical Rainforest Nature Park.
✔️Take the Skyrail (Rainforest Cableway) from Smithfield Station, passing through Red Peak, Barron Falls, to Kuranda Station, from rich vegetation to magnificent waterfalls, the biodiversity here is a feast for the eyes.
✔️Take the Army Duck to immerse yourself in the tropical rainforest landscape from water and land. The humorous grandfather teaches us to recognize plants🪴 and advance our wilderness survival skills in his own way.
✔️Get up close with rare species of butterflies in the world at the Butterfly Conservation Park, really like the Ulysses with blue wings here🦋
✔️Watched the Pamagirri dance that imitates animals and hunting postures, felt the sound of the didgeridoo, a wind instrument that has been passed down for thousands of years, and learned the basic principles of the boomerang (primitive hunting form)... Embrace multiculturalism and find 'commonality' in 'difference', the world is truly wonderful.
✔️Hugged a koala🐨🦘 kangaroo in the zoo, and unexpectedly saw the kangaroo's out-of-circle dance moves.
✔️The street of handmade crafts by the locals is also good to stroll around 🛒 Have another cup of cost-effective Aussie white (environmental cup).
Cairns, it's really outdoors
Many people choose to travel to Australia across the years.
The Kuranda Rainforest Park is a must-see for Cairns and has been listed as one of the World Heritage Sites. It is located in North Queensland, covering 40 hectares. There are more than 200 species of birds in the entire rainforest, and more than 60% of all species of butterflies in Australia. It will also see 150 million years of living fossil sheep. Dental plant.
You can take a 100-year-old train to visit the rainforest area, and the railway bridge and tunnel that the train crosses were built between 1882 and 1889. The train travels through the rainforest on a hundred-year-old railroad track, spanning more than 30 bridges and fifteen tunnels. After two hours of driving, the scenery is beautiful! You can choose to take the cable car or take the train back. Anyway, our cable car train is sitting. The scenery on the cable car is also beautiful, and the Cairns rainforest scenery is unobstructed.
The town of Kuranda is not far from the rainforest. To complete the hot air balloon experience, you can go to ##.
It is recommended not to arrive too early, too early to the rainforest to wait and be bitten.
If you want to experience a sightseeing train or cable car, you can purchase it yourself. The
tropical rainforest area includes a zoo where you can see many famous Australian animal babies. If you want to bring something home, you can choose to take a photo with Koala.
The whole tropical rainforest can choose to travel around the sea and land. This is very special. It is interesting to drive down the river when it is open.
There will be a photo of the staff and you can purchase photos.
#Where to go to New Years Day
The Kuranda Rainforest, which is made up of an ancient and complex original flora, is more than 150 million years old. At the entrance to the rainforest park, there is a small zoo. There are Dingo, Australian wild dogs, their main prey is birds and reptiles, but also kangaroos, wombats, sheep, etc., so that animals can only be kept in cages.
The kangaroos here are in a state of free-range. The kangaroos can be seen in pairs on the trails, and they are not afraid of strangers. I saw a group of children chasing kangaroos.
Although there is a Canadian koala, but there is only Queensland where you can legally take a photo of koala in Australia. Please note that my word is koala, and there are many zoos that can take photos with koala. The place where the koala is photographed can only be in Queensland, so the cost of holding the koala is not cheap, 25 Australian dollars, and can't be shot with your own camera. Only the staff can shoot the camera. After the filming, the QR code will be scanned and downloaded. Version photo and print a photo for you. With my hands on the koala's ass, can I say this lazy little fat man, is the ass hot?

Interesting: Barron Falls 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
Barron Falls in Queensland, Australia, is nature's magnificent spectacle at its best. My visit left me in awe of the raw power and beauty of this waterfall.
Arriving at the viewing platform, I was greeted by the thunderous roar and mist rising from the crashing waters. The falls, framed by lush rainforest, create a stunning contrast against the surrounding greenery.
What makes Barron Falls even more remarkable is its ever-changing nature. The water flow varies with the seasons, making each visit a unique experience. Witnessing the falls during the wet season, when they're at their most dramatic, was particularly breathtaking.
The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the Kuranda Scenic Railway offer fantastic vantage points to admire the falls from different angles. Barron Falls is a must-see natural wonder, a testament to Australia's incredible landscapes and the awesome force of water in the wild.

Barron Falls Lookout
Barron Falls is a steep tiered cascade waterfall on the Barron River located where the river descends from the Atherton Tablelands to the Cairns coastal plain, in Queensland, Australia.
It can be reached by road via the Kennedy Highway, about 40 minutes drive from Cairns city. The narrow-gauge Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail aerial tram also leads from the coastal plain to the tablelands. The train stops at Barron Falls overlook, where passengers may disembark for several minutes. The Skyrail stops at two rainforest mid-stations, Red Peak and Barron Falls. The trail at Barron Falls Skyrail station leads through the scenic rainforest to three separate lookouts providing gorgeous views of the Gorge and Falls.
Protected within the Barron Gorge National Park, the volume of water seen in the photos only occurs after substantial rainfall during the wet season from November to March. For much of the rest of the year, little more than a trickle is evident, due in part to the presence of a weir behind the head of the falls that supplies the Barron Gorge Hydroelectric Power Station located downstream in the gorge.

WoW: Kuranda Koala Gardens 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
Kuranda Koala Gardens in Queensland, Australia, is an absolute delight for wildlife enthusiasts. My visit to this charming sanctuary was a heartwarming experience.
Stepping into the gardens, I was greeted by the cuddly koalas, a quintessential Australian icon. The opportunity to get up close and even hold one of these marsupials was a dream come true. Their sleepy antics were adorable.
Beyond the koalas, the gardens are home to a variety of native animals, including wallabies, wombats, and reptiles. The naturalistic enclosures provide a glimpse into Australia's diverse fauna.
What sets Kuranda Koala Gardens apart is its commitment to animal welfare and conservation. The knowledgeable staff shared insights about these creatures and their habitats.
For anyone seeking an authentic Australian wildlife encounter in a peaceful rainforest setting, Kuranda Koala Gardens is a must-visit. It's a place where the charm of these animals and the importance of their conservation come together for an unforgettable experience. #australia #instatravel
There are only two places in Australia that can hold koalas, one of which is in Queensland. Just like the Kuranda Rainforest in Cairns, there is a koala garden, and the cute koala is waiting for you to hug.
Hold a cute koala and take a cute photo.
This is a super rare opportunity. Dont miss it when you go.

Kuranda is a small town north of Cairns, hidden in a tropical rainforest. Taking a small train from Cairns to Kuranda is the best way to get around. The scenic train passes through the lush rainforest and the most famous local Barron falls. The journey takes about 2 hours. As a fake train fan, you must experience it.
Ps: Although there is a train station in Cairns, the locals do not take the train, and this rail is mostly used for sightseeing trains and materials transportation. ##
