Popular Attractions
Yamato Museum (Kure Maritime Museum)
A popular cafe restaurant
Kobo is a beautiful cafe. It's got a very relaxed vibe . There’s parking, there is outside and inside seating. During winter it’s pretty warm and cozy. The owner is famous for his blog on Sanda. Apparently he experienced a lot and was very picky about cafes and restaurants. The coffee was from Cabin coffee, the best roaster in Sanda area.
The Toki blend was somehow middle-roasted (I hate sourness) but good enough when it was with sandwiches. The egg sandwich ¥600 was surprisingly great. The egg was not a boiled egg but a grilled egg. The egg was sheet-like but half-raw like good scrambled eggs. I would pay more. I saw many items familiar in his blog such as the chopstick holders and the log house to store logs.

Small Town Kure City - Yamato Museum Check-in
In the morning, I arrived at the small town of Kure City, south of Hiroshima. Although it is said to be a tourist city, it is more famous for its nature as a naval port, being one of the largest naval ports currently. The shipbuilding industry here is very developed, transitioning from building warships to now constructing both civilian and military ships, giving the place a unique character. The most famous attractions here are the Yamato Museum and the Submarine Museum. The introduction here is quite fair. As soon as you enter the museum, you can see the huge model of the Yamato. The ship's 46cm triple-barrel cannons were the top configuration for battleships at the time. However, World War II was already the era of aircraft carriers, and battleships relying solely on firepower became a disadvantage. Therefore, this ship was soon bombed and sunk by the US military in the waters off Kagoshima. Besides viewing warships, there are many interesting mini-games related to shipbuilding inside, which were quite fun to play.
The Yamato Museum is located next to JR Kure Station, a 10-minute walk away. After exiting the station, follow the signs from the port exit.
Additionally, most of the trams in Kure City depart from Hiroshima Station, with one every half hour.
The entrance fee for the Yamato Museum is 500 yen, and as long as the ticket is for the same day, you can enter and exit unlimited times.

Japanese niche destination [exploration in submarine]
Wu City, the Imperial Navy has been stationed here since ancient times. During the Second World War, it became the base of the Imperial Navy. It is an industrial manufacturing port for steel and shipbuilding, and the sea. The Self-Defense Force also has a close relationship. Wugangs powerful shipbuilding capabilities and its mission to defend the waters of southern Japan are full of military charm. As the hometown of Yamato, it is also a place of pilgrimage for many anime fans. It is very convenient to take an hour by JR, and it is very convenient. It is very recommended to go to Wu City to see it in Hiroshima. To understand the various types of Japanese navy in the war and after the war, the most interesting thing is that there are too many ship models and a retired submarine.
Iron whale is really eye-catching! Can't help but jump and scream, this is different from the model seen in the museum, this is the real guy! I said at that time that if I could go in and have a look, I didn't expect to go upstairs and found that I can really go in, and it is free. The door is still attached. "Because it is a real guy, you cant leave the button inside. According to the warning, when the volunteer grandfather asked us to look at it from the periscope, I thought it was a picture. I didnt write it to the opposite sea. Of course, the place where the torpedo was placed on the lower layer could not go down. Peep down.
