#wellnesstravel I recently spent an incredible day at Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa in Costa Rica, and it was pure paradise! 💦 Located in the Arenal region, surrounded by lush rainforest and views of the volcano, the setting is breathtaking. The entrance fee was around $85 USD, which included access to all the thermal pools and a fantastic lunch buffet. The natural hot springs are heated by the Arenal Volcano, and the cascading pools vary in temperature, making it easy to find the perfect spot to unwind. The whole experience was so relaxing. I loved lounging in the hot springs with the sounds of nature all around me, and the spa services are top-notch if you want to treat yourself to a massage. After soaking, I strolled through the beautiful gardens, and it felt like a total escape. The aren’t many place in the world where you can lie in hammock in the middle of the rainforest, listening to tropical birds, possibly sighting a reclusive sloth all whilst taking in the views of an active Volcano. Hot springs and volcanic areas seem to go hand in hand and Costa Rica’s Arenal region is no exception. One of the best natural hot springs to try in the area can be found at the Baldi hot springs in La Fortuna. Here set amongst the jungle you can work you way up the hill as the temperature of the pools rises towards a scorching 45c. Many of these pools have swim up bars for you to grab a drink as you relax and due to the large amount of pools available they never feel overcrowded and feel more like a secluded escape #voyagevibes

#weekendgetaways Well worth the admission cost! Takes about 15 minutes to hike down and 30 to 40 to hike back up. 500 steps/600m. Take your time! The water is chilly, but refreshing. Great photo ops. Beautiful to see up close. Highly recommend. There's a spot just past the waterfall that's safer to swim in than at the base too.overall it ok for me
