Located in Laem Sing, right at the entrance of Ao Yang, the restaurant is called "Kanom Jeen Mae Yai." It features an open-air, MINIMALIST concept beautifully decorated with bamboo, giving it a chic and elegant vibe. Prices for the Kanom Jeen (Thai rice noodles) start at just 39 THB. You can choose from a variety of curries, including spicy forest curry with fermented fish and chicken feet, fish coconut curry, green curry, and sweet peanut sauce. They also offer their famous signature dish, Kanom Jeen with crab curry, which goes for 69 THB per plate. We suggest arriving before noon to beat the crowd and enjoy the full selection of curries. If you visit in the afternoon, they might be sold out! Don't forget to grab a small bottle of refreshing Chrysanthemum tea or Calamondin juice for only 10 THB. They pair perfectly with the Kanom Jeen!

I stumbled upon this spot on the map, noticed its early hours and stellar ratings, and decided to check it out. It's a cozy little shop situated right by the road. Even though we went early in the morning, there was a steady stream of customers coming and going. The space might be small, but it's beautifully and adorably decorated, complete with perfectly placed plants. For drinks, I ordered an unsweetened latte to try. The taste was fantastic, and it was super affordable too—only about 50-60 THB. They also serve shaved ice! If anyone tries it, definitely let me know how it tastes!

This spot is called Asterisk Cafe, also known as Dok Chan Coffee, a very cool name that perfectly captures the vibe of a cafe in Chanthaburi. Located right by the sea in the Laem Sing District, it’s just a short distance from Wat Paknam Khaem Nu. The cafe takes up the ground floor of a large seaside house. There’s plenty of parking out front, and the best part—they have EV charging stations! If you're driving an electric vehicle, you definitely shouldn't miss this place. They offer a huge variety of drinks. We went with something refreshing to beat the heat on a hot day. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, chill in the small garden with beautiful seating areas, or even take a stroll along the beach. Oh, and they also offer accommodations! So, if you fall in love with the place, you can book a room and stay for an extended getaway.

This cafe is called Take a Rest. It's located in the Laem Sing community area, right at the beginning of the beach. I recommend searching for it on your map app and following the directions. You can drive right up to the front of the cafe, where there's a fairly spacious area. The cafe is absolutely gorgeous! Starting from the outside, it's beautifully decorated with plenty of ornamental plants. It looks especially stunning when the afternoon sunlight shines down. The inside is also well-decorated, making every angle perfect for taking photos. The highlight, however, is the outdoor balcony zone that offers a panoramic view of the sea. The drinks also taste really good. Prices are around 90 baht per glass, though this depends on the specific menu item.

The atmosphere along the Ta Sang Canal is a salty river that flows out to the sea at the mouth of the Kham Nu River. The recommended dish from the restaurant, Khai Talay, is soft-shell crab, shrimp, squid, and fried sea bass, topped with tamarind sauce and crispy fried shallots. It's sweet, salty, and sour. Stir-fried crab with lime, crab claw meat, stir-fried with bell peppers and Chinese celery, seasoned with a sweet and sour taste, sprinkled with eggs to add richness, very delicious. I had the chance to stop by and make merit at Wat Laem Sing. I have to say, the vibe here is a bit different from your typical temple because it's so close to the sea. There's a constant, cool breeze, and the moment you walk in, you instantly feel open, airy, and at ease without even trying. We paid our respects to the Buddha, made some wishes, and took a stroll around the temple. There are nice little spots to sit back, enjoy the view, and take in the sea breeze. If you're looking for a peaceful place to heal your soul, I highly recommend this spot. It feels like a gentle reset for yourself. The evening is especially nice. The light is soft, the breeze is cool, and sitting quietly while listening to the gentle sound of the waves is incredibly chill.
