Upon our arrival， we received a warm welcome from Mahdi， our attentive butler， who introduced us to the resort's facilities comprehensively. Although we initially chose standard Beach Villa and Water Villa accommodations， the resort graciously upgraded us to opulent Beach Villas featuring private pools. We were just a brief 10-second walk away from the breathtaking turquoise sea， enjoying the refreshing， boundless sea breeze.Our dining package included all meals， allowing us to indulge in tasty food at the resort's restaurants， which offered soothing music and a semi-open setting. Occasionally， tall herons with distinct black-and-white beaks wandered gracefully nearby. At the heart of the resort was a spectacular infinity pool that overlooked the ocean. When snorkeling or exploring nearby waters， we encountered colorful coral fish， elegant blacktip reef sharks， and even graceful stingrays. Snorkeling equipment was available for free rental, so we could dive right into the ocean in front of the resort. Seeing the tropical fish in the crystal-clear waters made us think, "Coming to the Maldives was the best decision ever." #maldivestrip The newly renovated Sunset Deluxe Pool Villas were beautiful and spacious — easily large enough for two adults, one toddler, and a baby. The beach right in front of the villa was fantastic! In fact, the ocean and beaches around the hotel were stunning. We often wandered around the island and discovered quiet spots with no one else around, which felt absolutely magical — like being explorers in paradise. I honestly didn’t expect that level of privacy when we first arrived, especially since the lobby and restaurant areas had more of an “all-inclusive resort” vibe, with lots of guests rushing to the buffet at the same time, not many smiles, and a rather hectic atmosphere (FYI lots of Russian guests). Unfortunately, the food didn’t always meet our expectations. It was often overcooked — dry meat and fish were sometimes inedible — and there were too many unhealthy options for kids. For the nearly 1,000 euros per night (full board) we paid, I would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail and guest care. For example, some other guests paying half our rate (on all-inclusive packages) received two dinner vouchers for the other restaurants, while we didn’t get any, which felt a bit odd. I think I would book all inclusive next time. The booking process was also frustrating; I had to repeatedly follow up with the reservations department by phone just to receive a booking confirmation because no one replied to my mails. While the natural beauty of the island, the villa, the pool I have to say I expected a bit more overall — also from our island host, who made us feel processed rather than valued as guests.

Avoid visiting before Christmas as it's rainy during that time. However, the spa is a must-try—such an incredible experience that brings you closer to nature. Our host, Ajlan, truly elevated our stay by accommodating all our needs; he even surprised me with a birthday cake to celebrate my special day!

The island is stunning and just a quick 15-minute speedboat ride from the airport. What truly makes this resort exceptional, though, is the incredible staff who are so warm and hospitable—they truly felt like family by the end of our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Sayuru, our island host, who went above and beyond to make our trip special. From arranging restaurant bookings and organizing our fishing trip to checking in with us daily to ensure everything was perfect, Sayuru’s care was remarkable. Even on his day off, when we faced an issue with our room, he ensured we were moved to an amazing ocean bungalow. Thank you so much, Sayuru, and also Sultana, a new host who was wonderful as well. I’ve spent two days at a sunset beach house hosted by Mahdi, and it’s been an amazing vacation. The room is equipped with three shower taps, a bathtub, and a private swimming pool. This setup is super convenient—you can wash up anytime after enjoying the sea and beach, and the private pool lets you swim even when the weather isn’t ideal. You’re free to explore most of the island, including the outer water lagoons, and the host provides a schedule for daily shows and activities. My booking included a buffet, which I found sufficient and satisfying. It’s nice seeing the chefs prepare food behind the counter. I also opted for a semi-marine tour and a personal snorkeling lesson, costing me $134 total—definitely worth the money. The only drawback was the somewhat pricey speedboat transfer to the island at $200 round-trip, but given the excellent service on the island, it didn’t bother me too much.

This is our third time visiting the Maldives, and we’d gladly return to this lovely resort. Riya is such a caring and attentive manager, always available to offer guidance, whether she's on holiday or not. My room boy, Babu, created a lovely birthday bed decoration and ensured I had plenty of coffee. The reception team—Fauzaan, Ifraz, Janel, Reena, Saras, Ermie, Juliana, and Sayuru—were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Forhad, Kauchar, Meraj, Monu, Raji, and Ashok made getting around the island so convenient with their excellent buggy service. Bebo and his entertainment team were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the violin 🎻 played by Mihir; he even performed a special song for me, which was so touching 🫰. The bar staff, along with those at Bageecha and Lagoon, were warm and welcoming, and I loved the food. Hook Restaurant was magical at night, and thanks to Diksha, I truly enjoyed my time there. The pizza from the Italian restaurant was delicious, and the staff there were just as welcoming. I already miss everything and can’t wait to visit again 🫶🏻.
