It is especially worth mentioning that another high point on National Highway G318, Dongda Mountain (with a pass elevation of 5,130 meters), is sometimes also considered the highest point on G318. The accurate statement should be: Dongda Mountain Pass is the highest pass on the southern Sichuan-Tibet route. Dongda Mountain is located in Zuogong County, Chamdo City, Tibet Autonomous Region, and is an important node on the southern Sichuan-Tibet route.
