📅 Day trip Itinerary - arrive by midday - walk down the station, straight through the alley ways and you’ll find yourself in front of the guildhall. - visit the Guildhall, or the Lichfield library and the local market right in front of it. - it is also beside Samuel Johnson’s house and there is cute bookshop there - this part is the city centre so you’ll find plenty of shops, cafés, pubs - walk straight and you’ll find yourself in front of a small water body and a park surrounding it. Sit here, look at the swans, enjoy the scenery or read a book! - on the alley way opposite it, you’ll find a cute little antique shop. - then visit the cathedral, go in to look at the architecture or attend a service - walk along the cathedral grounds to get mesmerised in the grandeur of it! 🏨 Accommodation 🍴 Food Recommendations 📌 Tips- it’s a pretty walkable city so wear comfy shoes and only take a bus if you want to visit the neighbouring towns

As I approached, I was drawn to its exquisite exterior. Inside, I was awestruck by its opulent decorations and sacred atmosphere. After a thorough visit, I sat down in the square in front of the cathedral, admiring the grandeur of this magnificent structure. Many locals were strolling leisurely in the square, adding to the peaceful and tranquil ambiance. After leaving the cathedral, I strolled along the town's main shopping street. Here, numerous unique shops offered everything from elegant handicrafts to creatively designed accessories, making it a place I lingered in. I carefully browsed each shop, eventually finding many souvenirs I liked. Besides shopping, I also took a break at a nearby café, savoring the rich, aromatic local coffee and soaking in the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
