In Arro Khamba, my favorite place is the tea room. The sunlight in Lijiang is so generous, but I don’t want to be sunburned or squeezed into the commercial streets of the ancient town. So I hid in this tea room—free and open to guests, with staff brewing tea at any time. Every reception involves opening a new pack of tea, so generous it makes you feel a bit embarrassed. The tea room’s design is full of ethnic characteristics, with thangkas, handmade carpets, and Tibetan-style small items, as if entering a mini Tibetan museum. Brew a pot of Pu'er tea, watch the pond in the courtyard reflect the sky, and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain silently stands not far away like a god. No rushing schedules, no planning, just sitting like this. The best way to travel in Lijiang is not to check in, but to “daydream.” At night, the book bar turns into a bar, serving Tibetan wine, fruit wine, and whiskey. Having a small drink here and then resting is ten thousand times more comfortable than being dragged into a bar by touts in the ancient town. Lijiang Old Town Accommodation Guide 10/10: Incredibly Cheap and Good Yuehao. Designer Garden Mei Suk 📝 : The room was spacious, beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The staff provided excellent service and were always ready to help; we even added each other on WeChat to communicate easily. Walking into the room for the first time, I was blown away by how beautiful and spotless it was. What surprised me even more was the fully automated smart room system! The room was also warm, super comfortable to sleep in, and smelled really fresh. I highly recommend it! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink of Yunnan tea and flower cakes. It's an absolute steal for the price! I highly recommend taking a stroll through Shuhe if you are ever in Lijiang. It is super cute here, with plenty of beautiful shops, stunning architecture, and lots of flowers! 🥗 For food, I recommend the Yunweiji Yak Meat Hot Pot (Shuhe Lover's Bridge branch). The food is absolutely delicious here. We went twice and really loved it. 📸 Photos turn out beautifully at any time of the day. But sunset is the absolute best. 👟 Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and watch your step! I actually sprained my ankle in this town because of the wide gaps between the cobblestones. I took one careless step and that was it. Sprained it... You definitely shouldn't wear heels here!

#MustVisitSpot A must-see location: Admire the snow-capped mountains and golden sunrise at Black Dragon Pool, Lijiang. 🚶: We walked 2km from Lijiang Ancient Town – a relaxing stroll. 📝: Black Dragon Pool is a Chinese-style pond and pagoda with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and the Jade Dragon in the background. The sunrise, with its golden light illuminating the mountaintops, is incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend waking up early to see it. We arrived at 7:30 AM, and it was already very crowded. Ideally, you should arrive around 7:00 AM to catch the first rays of the sunrise. Located at the North Gate, someone will help you with your luggage upon arrival! I always thought staying in the Old Town would be noisy, but it turns out I was mistaken... This guesthouse is really well designed and offers great value for money, so you don't have to worry about noise outside at all. · The rooftop has a photo terrace with views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and downstairs there's a self-owned café perfect for photos. The basement level has a KTV, mahjong room, gym, and more... It's so fully equipped, truly unexpected. · And the best part is... they use Dyson hairdryers, and the rooms even have separate bathtubs. It's absolutely amazing. If you want an immersive vacation experience, this is the place to go!!! Highly recommend Lijiang Yunman’s Song-style Aesthetic Guesthouse!!!
