This place is not only architecturally magnificent and culturally rich but also an excellent destination for visitors to learn about Hui culture. Dagangbei is situated in the western suburbs of Linxia City, adjacent to People's Hongyuan Park. Dagangbei was originally built in the 59th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1720), initiated by Tuohuaqing, the first head of Dagangbei (of Hui ethnicity). The tomb pavilion of Qi Jingyi is called the "Pavilion of Permanence" and is one of the three major Islamic sacred sites of Gedrenye in China (the other two are: the foothills of Panlong Mountain in Langzhong City, Sichuan, the burial site of the 29th generation saint Huazhe Abudonglashi, known as the "Western Arrival Saint"; and Luling Temple at the foot of Lion Mountain in Xixiang County, Shaanxi, the initial burial place of Qi Jingyi after his passing). Initially small in scale, the site gradually expanded. The main buildings include a three-story Bagua tomb pavilion, a mosque, a paifang (archway), a screen wall, a scripture hall courtyard, a stele hall, a well hall, a guest hall, a meditation room, and a garden.
