2 hrs drive from Metro Manila, this farm resort gives us a western country - style vibe with a touch of an old town Netherlands warmth. It is ideal for unwind. Dinner was 800 pesos. Inclusive of set meal with several food choices and a farm tour. For visitors, reservation is required. There are packages to choose from (whether it's visit + breakfast, visit + dinner, overnight stay, and so forth). Some may find the price a bit high, but considering the size of the property and the number of people necessary to keep it clean, neat and running, the price is justifiable.

Home away from home. This is one of a kind place to be feel home in the center of city. Few meters walk you'll be in SM Lipa. The mall is walking distance and I enjoy staying here since they have table tennis that you can play and piano . Perfect for a family travelers specially if you have toddler and need a room that safe for kid. We're 7 adults and 2 children. It's a peaceful place also and we have a nice staying here. I highly recommend this place considering that you are within the city and a large group family. Food app is also recommended if ever you get hungry and tired. Since they don't have restaurants inside although they have small store for simple snacks like biscuits and instant noodles. It's very convenient and accessible in your room and wait for delivery. I love having coffee early in the morning and the Pavilion offer unlimited coffee if you are coffee lover definitely this place is for you. So what are you waiting for ? #falladventures #travel #familytravel About a two-hour drive south of Manila is Mount Manabu, Mataas na Bundo (a high mountain). Upon registration at the Sta. Cruz Barangay Hall, you are assigned a guide. Continue on a narrow road for about 1km, and you arrive at the starting point with a car park, rest room, shower, and a shade with benches and tables. The hike leads mainly through the forest and is therefore nicely shaded. There are several rest stations along the way where the hiker can rest. Some sell snacks, but the real attraction is Tatai Tino's coffee shop. You can drink local coffee, and it's free of charge. Other things like coconuts, lumpia (spring rolls) are available for a small fee. The path up to the coffee shop is easy to climb; nevertheless, good shoes and some fitness are required, as it makes your heart pump. After the coffee shop, the challenge starts. Similar to the lower path but a factor steeper. Once you are out of the forest, the path levels off a bit, and you arrive at a plateau with a breathtaking view as a reward for your effort. Another short hike and you arrive at the summit with an even better view. We left Manila at 6 am, and depending on your pace (and traffic), you can be back at the drop-off point early or mid-afternoon, afternoon to start your journey back to Manila. Sunday Lunch Out at Mt. Malarayat 🍽️🌿 We dropped by Mt. Malarayat Golf & Country Club in Lipa for a quiet family lunch — and it did not disappoint! The mountain breeze, lush greens, and peaceful surroundings instantly set a relaxing mood. We dined at the Sand Trap Lounge, where the ambiance was cozy and the service was attentive. The food was on the pricier side, but portions were generous and flavors were spot-on. We ordered classic Filipino dishes — bulalo, crispy pata, and sinigang — perfect for sharing. Even the kids enjoyed the meal (plus the fresh bread from the on-site bakery!). After lunch, we took a short walk around the garden area and admired the golf course views. It’s such a refreshing place, even just for a few hours. If you’re looking for a peaceful lunch spot with family — somewhere a bit upscale but not too far from the city — Mt. It was really hot when I went to the Philippines in early July! A friend specially booked this resort. It is full of greenery and it feels cool. As soon as I got off the car, I saw beautiful peacocks walking around leisurely. They were not afraid of people at all. When I checked in, the waitress handed me a small icy towel and a green drink. It tasted like watermelon juice and was very delicious! I still remember it vividly. We spent two days in the park, chatting, eating, and relaxing. It was really fun! There are three restaurants in the park. I prefer the Indian one. The curry is really appetizing! There are big trees outside the balcony in the room, which is very interesting! I want to go again next time
