Portugal feels like the peak of summer. 3 nights in Lisbon, with a day trip to Porto by train in the middle. ◾️Day 1 Arrived at the airport early morning ✈️ 📝 Purchased a 72-hour Lisboa Card at the airport. The Lisboa Card was truly worth it. ↓ Took a Bolt taxi 🚕 directly to the hotel and left my luggage. ↓ Explored São Jorge Castle and the city streets (photos up to the 11th are from Day 1). Focused mainly on scenic spots. ◾️Day 2 Took a high-speed train to Porto (details in a separate post). ◾️Day 3 In the morning, visited Carmo Convent and the Bica Funicular. In the afternoon, toured Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower (free with the Lisboa Card). The Bica Funicular is free with the Lisboa Card, so I rode it twice! It's a quintessential Lisbon scenic spot. 🛍️ For shopping and dining: Augusta Street and Garret Street are lively and recommended. 🏠 For breathtaking ocean views: Near the Church of Santa Luzia. 🏨 Recommended hotels: Around Rossio Street for easy sightseeing and proximity to the station. 🚃 Recommended tram: Route 28 (E28) offers scenic views. ⚠️ Note: The streets are littered with cigarette butts and quite dirty, so long skirts may get stained.
