“Adventuring Through Time: Explore the Ancient Great Orme Mines!”
Trip Moments at Great Orme Mines
Our visit to the Great Orme Mines was nothing short of extraordinary. As we descended into the ancient cave, the air felt charged with history. This site, believed to date back to the Bronze Age, offers a rare glimpse into the lives of people from thousands of years ago, and we were eager to explore every inch of it.
The mine’s winding tunnels and impressive chambers were both intriguing and slightly eerie, enhancing the adventure. The knowledgeable guides shared fascinating stories about the miners and their tools, making the experience even more immersive. We marveled at the remnants of ancient mining techniques and the skill it took to extract copper from the rock.
The ticket price of £11.50 for adults felt like a steal for such a unique experience. This wasn’t just a tour; it was a journey back in time, allowing us to imagine the challenges faced by those who once toiled here. We left the cave with a deep appreciation for the ingenuity of the Bronze Age people and a sense of wonder at having walked in their footsteps.
Exploring the Great Orme Mines is a one-time experience that we will always cherish, a true blend of adventure and history that left us eager to learn more about our ancestors.
Excellent Hotel
I stayed with my family (2 adults and 2 small children) for two nights, and we had a great time. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for families. The staff were welcoming and always helpful, which added to our positive experience.
While there’s no free parking nearby, the paid parking is affordable, and it's free until 8 am. I can't remember exactly when the charges start again, but it wasn’t too early, so it didn’t cause any issues for us.
We loved the surrounding area, with nice parks and local shops within walking distance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would recommend this hotel to others, especially families.

🌊 Seaside Serenity in Llandudno! 🏖️
#fallingseason Amidst the gentle whispers of the waves, I found my sanctuary in Llandudno. The golden sands stretched endlessly, kissed by the sun's warm embrace. Seagulls painted the sky as I strolled along the Victorian promenade, absorbing the town's rich history. The Great Orme loomed majestically, inviting me to explore its ancient mysteries. In quaint tearooms, I savored the taste of freshly baked Welsh cakes, a true delight. Evenings were adorned with fiery sunsets, casting hues of orange and pink upon the sea. Llandudno, a haven of tranquility, etched its beauty into my soul, a memory to cherish forever.
Very European Wales
Llandudno is a famous holiday spot in Welsh. It is about an hour drive from Manchester. It is also known as "the Queen of the Welsh Resorts" since the middle of the 19th century, Llandudno is the largest seaside resort town in Wales. Characterised by the long promenade overlooked by the rows of Victorian buildings which make up the South Parade the architecture certainly lives up to this title. The beach is mainly a rocky and may not be suitable for people to swim, but definitely a perfect spot for good photos. There is a small section of the beach is sand near the long pier at the end of the beach. You will not miss the pier once you walk in the promenade. The long pier are being used a a small theme park with some rides and food stores. It is the good place for families to spend a n afternoon here. When you walk along the promenade, you will feel you are being in "Nice" in France.
We spent a long time to walk along the promenade and took lots of photos. Because along the promenade all the buildings have their own characters and you will just not missing those good photos.
At the end of the promenade is a long pier go out a long way in the water. It is a amusement park with some rides on the pier. Also there are food stores, game rooms and some gift shops along the amusement park. One interesting thing is we found a few people to use fishing line and net to catch crabs from the pier. We also bought a fishing line and a net and tried our luck for fun. Luckily we got some small crabs for fun but end up we put back those crabs in the water.
Besides the amusement you will see a road going up to the hill. Some people are walking to the hill but we were driving so we were able to drive up to the top of the hill. There is a stunning view to look back Llandudno. Also if you are lucky enough you will see some wild goats walking around. Those goats are living in the hill and are free to walk around.

Llandudno at night 🏴
Llandudno is a seaside resort town and community located in north Wales on the Creuddyn peninsula which protrudes into the Irish Sea , it’s also the largest seaside resort in Wales and the name means church of Saint Tudno .
It’s been a popular tourist destination since the Victorian era and with views of the Irish Sea and Snowdonia it’s not hard to see why people come here !
It’s known for North Shore beach with its wide curving Victorian promenade and 19th century Pier with shops and amusement arcade ..
I visited in January on a cold winters night but would love to see this place in summer it’s a Beautiful place 🙋🏻♂️🏴
Holiday Recommendation | Llandudno, Wales
Talking about summer, the beach, the pier and the seafront are the best places to enjoy the summer wind and the sunshine.
and Llandudno in Wales is one of the perfect places to visit in summer
You can also find different small stores that sell hand-made products, art pieces and souvenirs that you can bring back home or send as a gift to the loved ones.
I really like Llandudno, a small town in North Wales. The sky is always blue, and the shape of the white clouds is always lovely.
From the seaside promenade to the west, the end is the Great Orme Country Park, a rural park that the locals like to visit. This is not a good mountain. It is not difficult for people climbing. People who like to exercise every day are a good place, and a platform to the top of the mountain overlooks the entire Llandudno city and the ocean beyond.
and the most interesting thing is that when I went up the mountain, I was very sunny. I couldnt help but tell my domestic friend how much it was here. Suddenly the clouds were over the top, and I could only find a small cave to avoid the rain. The park is very primitive, only the rough little stone road, wildflowers and weeds, Wales is really too happy, so a park is just a shot, so I want to live and exercise here every day.
