Gary led our family group of four (ages 22 to 80) on an exceptional three-day Polish Normandy Battlefield tour in late April/early May 2026. We visited numerous sites including the D-Day beaches, the Normandy British Memorial—particularly impressive with the ‘Standing with Giants’ installation—Pegasus Bridge, Ranville Commonwealth War Cemetery, and key locations tied to airborne landings and early ground battles. We traced the Polish 1st Armoured Division's route during Operation Totalize, exploring battle sites such as St Aignan, Saint Sylvain, Cavicourt, Jort, and ultimately Hill 262 (Mont Ormel), which was profoundly moving. The Polish Military Cemetery at Urville-Langannerie was especially touching, standing among the graves of Polish soldiers who fought so far from home. We truly enjoyed traveling with Gary, who made the experience both informative and educational. His vast knowledge of the Normandy campaign paired with his thoughtful planning tailored the tour perfectly to our needs. At each site, his clear and engaging explanations were enriched by historical photos, letters, and veterans’ firsthand accounts.
