Shanwei, Guangdong, and the Bund, Shanghai.
When you see the Bund, Shanghai, you think of the skyscrapers in Pudong and the ships on the Huangpu River. But here, there is an endless beach and a panoramic view of the sea. This is the real Bund, Shanghai.
This beach is like a huge aircraft carrier docked on the shore of Lufeng and the Pacific Ocean. The waves are layered and rush towards the beach. They stretch far enough to the beach before retreating back to the sea. In the far sea, layers of waves are generated again. They push the waves in front of them and rush towards the beach without stopping. Then they leave traces of sand and water on the beach, turning into a layer of white foam and disappearing into the fine sand. The waves that have just receded leave a wet beach, which is like a huge crescent mirror, reflecting the figures of people playing in the water. In the swaying, people seem to be in another planet and forget where they are.

Xuanwu Mountain | The mountain is not high, but the spirit is sincere.
The faith of the Chaoshan people is not a joke. When they come during the New Year, there are many people. They worship wherever they can find a place. Today is the first day of June, "Jin Jin", there are not many people, just take a look.
Every time the business is not going well or the work is not going well, I will go to Xuanwu Mountain and let the Buddha show the way. After coming back, many things can be solved. Moreover, the buildings inside are particularly beautiful. Walking around and shopping, the mood will become relaxed and happy.
Charges: 25/person for tickets in the scenic area, 10/car for parking.
5/person for the top of the Fuxing Tower in the scenic area.
The first picture is the south gate of Xuanwu Mountain, which is open for free. After entering, it is the same as Xuanwu Temple in the scenic area.
The first time I went there, I was in a fog, and I was sincere
At noon, I tried Shanwei's special salty tea, 15/portion, with fried rice, celery, onion, garlic, shrimp, squid, etc... Add tea, mint, perilla, etc. to make tea soup, the taste is salty and fragrant.
The shopkeeper said that besides the snack street, you can stroll around the nearby beach. I went to Qianao Beach nearby. It was a particularly leisurely village. People started to swim at three or four o'clock.
I really regret not coming to this hotel earlier, it's perfect
I drove here myself, enjoying the scenery along the way and the journey itself. Youth is priceless! When vacationing by the sea, of course, I need a comfortable hotel~ Some hotels are too damp, so choosing the right hotel is crucial. This time, the Home2 Suites by Hilton really won my heart!
The main color scheme of the lobby is a simple wood tone, which exudes a low-key luxury while also providing a warm atmosphere. The lobby has spacious and comfortable seating, equipped with wireless charging, internet access, and printing services. It's really convenient. You can also see a 24-hour self-service drink bar in the lobby, offering free hot and cold drinks all day, giving you a homely, warm, and thoughtful feeling.
There are various room types to meet the needs of guests, with movable desks, sliding screens, and foldable sofas. The facilities here fully meet my needs for work, leisure, and entertainment. I give it a thumbs up.
The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the food is diverse and meticulously arranged. The simple and stylish design highlights the hotel's grandeur and sophistication. The ingredients are very fresh, with a daily selection of nutritious breakfasts, buffet dinners, and of course, local snacks to satisfy your taste buds!
This trip left a deep impression on me because it was my first time here. The food, accommodation, and transportation left a great impression on me. I think I will come again. That's all for today's sharing. Thank you all for your love.
Xuanwu Mountain
Xuanwu Mountain and Yuanshan Temple: A Dazzling Jewel of History and Culture
In Jieshi Town, Lufeng County, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, there lies the widely renowned Xuanwu Mountain. Yuanshan Temple was established in the first year of Jianyan of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127), holding a pivotal position as a national key cultural relics protection unit and is also regarded as a sacred mountain in the hearts of the Chaoshan people. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the history of the area where Xuanwu Mountain is located was closely connected with that of the ancient Jieshi Fort, playing a key strategic role. In November 2007, the Shanwei Xuanwu Mountain Tourist Area was successfully honored with the title of 'National AAAA-Level Tourist Attraction'.
During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, to avoid the taboo of Emperor Xuanye's name, 'Xuan' was changed to 'Yuan', and thus Yuanshan Temple got its name. It is a palace-style architectural complex with typical architectural style and artistic characteristics of the Ming Dynasty and is also one of the eight scenic spots in Shanwei.
Yuanshan Temple enshrines many deities and Buddha statues, including the Beiji Zhenwu Yuantian Emperor and Sakyamuni Buddha, presenting a unique scene of the integration of Taoism and Buddhism. Inside the hall, there are two plaques from the Qing Dynasty, 'Shuide Lingchang' by Lin Zexu and 'Lingsheng Manda' presented by Liu Yongfu during his tenure in Jieshi, both of which have been listed as famous plaques of China by the state. Yuanshan Temple also houses more than forty plaques left by Emperor Tongzhi and military commanders, and it treasures more than a thousand cultural relics from the Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
In 2001, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Inside Yuanshan Temple, there is a 'Fish Leaping Over the Dragon Gate' dragon wall, a large bronze sculpture originally built in the sixth year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1578) and restored in 1986. The Beiji Zhenwu Yuantian Emperor is associated with the phrase 'Yumen Fantaolang, fish transform into dragons', symbolizing great auspiciousness, and it is said that touching the dragon's head can dispel disasters and bestow blessings.

Xinzai Village of Shizai Village, Lufeng, Guangdong
Shizai Village is located in the northern part of Lufeng City, Guangdong Province, along the middle and lower reaches of the Luo River. In the first year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty (622), ancestors with the surnames Shi, Chen, and Xie quarried stones to build a fortress, hence the village was named Shizai because it was constructed with stones. In the fourteenth year of the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty (1641), Huang Xingcong and his son Huang Zhijian moved to Shizai to settle down. Other surnames gradually moved out, and the Huang clan then undertook large-scale construction, building the defensive fortress village that is now relatively well-preserved in eastern Guangdong. In the thirtieth year of the Kangxi era (1691), another fortress village was built 2 kilometers to the north, called 'He'anli', and the Huang clan of Xinzai originated from Shizai, hence it was also known as Xinzai. The construction of Xinzai took 19 years. The city wall is 400 meters long and over a zhang (3.3 meters) high, filled with gun holes for defense and shooting outwards. The village gates are set to the west, south, and north according to their orientation. The main gate and the ancestral hall gate are in a straight line, facing the Daqi Mountain and Jianfeng (Wumian Ridge) in the distance. The village covers an area of 11,648 square meters, with the Huang clan ancestral hall at the center, a spacious square in front, and two 'Nine-Room Buildings' behind. On both sides of the ancestral hall are 'Eight-Room Houses', with residential buildings laterally protected, and two open spaces left between them and the 'Nine-Room Buildings', known as 'Dragon's Eyes'. The residential buildings built around the village wall embrace and protect, forming a grand architectural complex.
In November 2008, it was rated as one of the first 'Ancient Villages in Guangdong Province'. In December 2012, it was rated as a 'Traditional Chinese Village'. In May 2013, it was rated as an 'Ancient Chinese Village'; in April 2014, it was rated as a 'Chinese Historical and Cultural Famous Village'; in August 2015, it was rated as a 'Model Village for Rural Tourism in China'.

The awe-inspiring Shanwei version of the Potala Palace | Dingguang Temple in Qingyun Mountain
If you haven't been to the Potala Palace yet👉, why not visit the Dingguang Temple in Lufeng, Shanwei🕌, especially on the ninth day of the first lunar month when Lufeng people go to Qingyun Mountain Dingguang Temple to 'ask for a poem'📸. The scene is very spectacular, and the crowd is comparable to Xuanwu Mountain.
✅ Founded in 1631 (nearly 400 years of history)
✅ 'The unique beauty of Lingnan'
✅ One of the three major Buddhist colleges in Guangdong
✅ The largest temple in Guangdong in terms of area
✅ The largest Buddhist college in Guangdong in terms of area
✅ The 'Little Larung Gar' of Guangdong
✅ The Shanwei version of the Potala Palace
...
An absolutely explosive presence💥 Not only is it an ancient and large-scale temple architecture, but it is also the leading Buddhist holy land in Shanwei🥇
📌【Location】Hexi Town, Lufeng City, Shanwei
🛰【Navigation】Qingyun Mountain - Dingguang Zen Temple
🕰【Opening Hours】7:00~19:00, no external vehicles and visitors are allowed from 19:00 until 7:00 the next day

⏰【Recommended Duration】It is recommended to arrange more than 2 hours, or half a day for a visit
🅿️【About Parking】Normally, cars can drive up to the middle of the mountain, but it's not feasible on holidays when there are many cars;
👉 About car-free travel
If you can drive, then drive, as Dingguang Temple is quite remote. If you really don't have a car, then take a taxi or bus⬇️
Bus 1⃣ Lufeng Bus Station→Dingguang Temple, take bus No. 12 from the station opposite the Mongkok Building, about 45 minutes, the terminal is Dingguang Temple
Bus 2⃣ Lufeng South Station→Dingguang Temple, take bus No. 33, about 1 hour, the terminal is Dingguang Temple
👉 About asking for poems and worshipping Buddha
The busiest day is the ninth day of the first lunar month each year. There are many shops at the foot of the mountain that 'interpret the poems', and the charges are a bit chaotic⚠️ Not everyone understands the culture of asking for poems, so it is suggested that friends from other places just worship
👉 About vegetarian meals
Vegetarian meals for visitors are free, but be prepared to donate some cash💴 into the 'Merit Box', just a token amount. You can have a vegetarian meal in the corner on the right-hand side of the Heavenly King Hall
👉 About the Buddhist realm
The glory of Dingguang Temple today is attributed to the founder of the Guangdong Buddhist Nunnery College, 'Master Honghui'👤. At the top of Dingguang Temple, there is the Honghui Relic Stupa, which has very impressive records of the person. Today's Dingguang Temple is one of only two Buddhist nunneries in the country, with an undergraduate level of Buddhism. In the Buddhist realm, respect the nuns, respect the flowers and plants💐, and refrain from making loud noises

Winter scene of Aotou Park in Hexi Street
Under the winter sun, Aotou Park in Niuluotou Village, Hexi Street, Xialong Village Committee, Lufeng City, makes people feel the sedimentation of time and the tranquility of nature under the hexagonal pavilion in the park. The six sides of the pavilion seem to represent the six stages of life, each carrying different experiences and stories. The surrounding grass and trees silently accompany me, making people feel the vitality and beauty of life. Here, one can find inner peace and tranquility, as well as a love and longing for life.
The surrounding grassland and countryside are very green. The branches and leaves of the trees sway in the breeze, as if dancing the dance of life. A small path winds through it. Every step seems to hear the breath of nature, feeling its tranquility and strength. Standing here, it seems that the whole world has become quiet, making people want to immerse themselves in this beautiful scenery and feel its warmth and embrace.
The rhythm of the lamp post, the concerto of brown and yellow, is so striking against the backdrop of the blue sky. The lamp post and the hexagonal pavilion and the stone path are the perfect fusion of art and environment. Walking here, you can feel the joy of slow life.
A stone road winds through the park, and every step can feel the breath of rural life, leaving a mark. The flowers, grass and trees by the road, sometimes encounter birds singing softly, adding a bit of liveliness here.
The pandas in the park are so cute playing together, each panda doll has its own unique characteristics, black and white, colorful, as if telling us the diversity of pandas. They play together, just like a group of children playing. Seeing these panda dolls, I feel relaxed and happy.
The rabbit statues on the lawn seem to be the guardians of this green world. Each rabbit is lifelike, as if it will come alive at any time. They stand or lie down in different poses, making people marvel at the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the craftsmen.
Here, you can feel the harmony and beauty of nature. Each 'rabbit' and each plant seems to have its own story, waiting for us to discover and listen.
On this quiet grassland, a huge book-shaped stele stands among them, like a silent guardian, guarding this green world. The stele is engraved with golden fonts, they shine in the sun, like stars, illuminating people's hearts.
Whenever night falls, under the light, these golden fonts will emit a faint light, as if telling people one legendary story after another. This book-shaped stele makes people feel the power of knowledge, makes people understand the value of life. In this green world, people can find their inner selves, can find the true meaning of life.
The wind that misses you still blows to Shanwei~
The wind that misses you still blows to Shanwei~
I want to watch the sunset with you, sit by the sea and blow the evening wind. The small popular seaside beach around Guangdong with few people and blue sea
I originally went to the corner bend of Figure 4, but I didn't expect to encounter a beautiful sunset
Navigation location: Qian'ao Beach, Lufeng City
We drove to the corner bend of Figure 4. If you ride a motorcycle down, the video should be particularly beautiful!
We arrived at two or three in the afternoon when it was particularly hot and there were not many people, but the sun was big against the sea and the sky looked particularly blue. There were various small fishing boats parked by the sea, but when I saw the sunset, I felt everything was worth it!!!
There were not many people during the day, and people slowly came to the sea in the afternoon when it was getting dark. You can go into the water. It should be a newly developed commercialization. The place is not big. If you want to watch the sunset, you should arrive at four or five in the afternoon. By the way, the scenery along the way from Lufeng is also very good
Supplement: The blue sky and the sunset are really looking at the sky (all the above pictures are directly out of the Apple camera)
