One of the most infamous beaches in Sarawak, Pandan Beach is about a 2 hours drive from Kuching city. Depending on your mode of transport, we used ferry to cross the river before driving further up to this gorgeous beach. Surrounded by the local kampungs, this beach is usually teemed with tourists during weekends and holidays but rest assured that the beach is still well maintained by locals and tourists alike. Do drop by if you’re a fan of the sun and sea. For those who are too lazy to drive back down, there’s several homestays and resorts nearby where you can enjoy a nights stay to recuperate before driving back down the next day. #newyearadventure

Morning in Sarawak

Just imagine waking up in your room and opening the door to this. This is the beauty of Lundu, Sarawak. The beach at one side, the mountains at another. The birthplace of the largest flower in the world, the rafflessia. If you enjoy feeling sands on your feet or a light sweat in a serene jungle, then Lundu is a great place to be. A few more kilometres and you’ll reach “kilometer zero” the south tip of Borneo. Nothing beats a smooth drive along the shore with a hint of salty seawater in the breeze. Beautiful beach , blue sea and white sand . Nice view to take photo and good place for the family to have holiday and have bbq . Luckily we have that place for ourselves , it was quite amazing stay 🥰

Jangkar Waterfall: The Magical Waterfall

#waterfalls #100waysoftravel You can feel the nature. The scenery is beautiful. The air felt clean and clear. The upper waterfall is magical, very cold and crystal clear it felt like i almost drink it. Relatively easy hike up with some great views. Get a local guide and be careful while swimming near the waterfall as the water gets really deep near the falls. Nice trail, good spots, child friendly spots available.

Redbee Resort at sampadi. 40 minutes drive from kuching and nice view all the way to the place. The resort have few room for rent and big space for camping around. The best thing is we can order some seafood from the resort but depend on the season or depend on the catch of the day. We had flower crab, steam prawn with wine and fresh coconut from the tree around the resort.

Gunung Gading National Park

#indonesiatrip Great hiking and wildlife sighting here. Contrary to popular belief, rafflesia is in bloom 365 days a year, just not always in the “conservation area” where it is more easily spotted and accompanied by a guide. Our guide was super amazing and knew so much about the park and all the wildlife. Got to swim in the natural springs and enjoy the fresh air. Will be coming back for overnight stays for better hiking and wildlife sighting.

Roxy Telok Serabang, Sematan

Located in Sematan, Lundu, the journey took about 2 hours from Kuching city. The place is very private and quiet especially when you go during weekdays. A perfect place for those who wants to have some time away from a busy city. We booked an igloo room during our stay where it can accomodate 6 pax in a room. You may bring your own cooking tools and foods, as there is a space to do the cooking/BBQ outside the room. Great place to heal!

This is the first time i been here. The owner is a friendly guy and the place has nice accommodation for family and friends for bbq, the scenery of the beach and a small pool for kids. We had a great time here. You can go for a romantic walk at the beach too at night.
