We ended our trip by using La Vallette, the airport lounge at Malta airport. It’s easy to find as it’s a small airport. There was a wide range of soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and hot drinks available. We were there about 2pm so lunch was being served, lots of tapas type food with fresh fruit, cakes and snacks frequently being filed by staff. The outside area overlooks the runway so it’s ideal for watching the planes land. There is a choice of covered or open seating outside as well as plenty of seats inside. Sockets for phone chargers are available as well as some tablets for last minute checks online. I would recommend using the lounge as the cost is offset by being able to sit in the sun eating lunch, for a last glass of wine while waiting for our flight.

Malta really surprised me in the best way. From hopping over to islands like Gozo to swimming in the clearest water, everything felt so effortless and neat. Travelling from valletta to malta international airport around midnight on Sunday, caught the TD4 airport direct bus and it just take 20 minutes for us as traffic free roads during midnight. Once we reached airport have collected the luggage from lockers and spent time with friends in airport and in meantime check-in desks are opened and followed with security check ins and some duty free shopping. It’s a small airport but well designed with a spacious feel and quite a lot of seating. Whenever I’ve flown two or from Malta airport it’s always been a relatively stressfree experience, going through security is usually very quick. #getgoing2025 La Valette Club I stopped here during my trip to Malta. It is located in the Malta International Airport, in the area after passing through immigration at the international terminal. I was amazed at the variety of food available! It was just about time to switch from breakfast to lunch, so I was able to enjoy both. We had yogurt and fruits for breakfast, and penne pasta and soup for lunch. Anyway, the food is gorgeous and the lounge is very satisfying. Also, the view is amazing, and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable while watching the planes. I stopped by Malta to go to Lisbon, and I arrived at the airport in about 20 minutes by Uber from downtown St. Julian's, Malta. The airport is not that big, but since Malta is an island, there are quite a lot of passengers, so I recommend leaving some time to spare. I had some time left, so I used the lounge, and I used the Valletta Club Lounge, which can be used as The Lounge. The runway was very visible from inside the lounge, so the view was satisfactory, and the inside of the lounge was also clean. However, the hot food was poor, but the drinks and snacks were not bad.
