Guangxi Luzhai Sanpai Village Ancient Stage.
The Sanpai Ancient Stage was built in 1887 and was rebuilt in 1949. The stage is designed in an ancient and elegant style, covering an area of 77 square meters, with a length and width of 8.8 meters. It is a six-beam and eight-column, earth-wood structure, with curved flying eaves on all sides, and three-in-one earth walls on both sides, divided into two floors. The lower floor is 2.2 meters high and is used as a makeup and waiting area for actors. The actors go upstairs to perform. The second floor is divided into the main stage and the sub-stage, and there are echo boards on the beams.
The Sanpai Village Ancient Stage is the only well-preserved ancient stage in Liuzhou. The difference of the stage is the brick and tile and mortise and tenon structure, not the previous beam structure. The preservation of the Sanpai Ancient Stage plays an indispensable role in studying the local mass culture of Luzhai. It is a key cultural relic of Luzhai County.

Guangxi Luzhai Renlitun Deng Clan Ancestral Hall.
The Renli Deng Clan Ancestral Hall was built in 1836 by Deng Yuejun. Deng Yuejun was originally from Meixian, Guangdong. He was poor when he was young and worked as an apprentice in a salt shop in Meixian. He later followed his boss to Liujiang County (now Zhaisha Town) to do business. Deng Yuejun, who had accumulated a certain amount of wealth, planned to settle in Zhaisha Town and sent someone back to Meixian, Guangdong to get the house drawings. The house is a Hakka-style building with two halls and four horizontal shapes. It took three years to build. There are nine halls and nine courtyards inside, plus one courtyard, which is called nine halls and ten courtyards, covering an area of more than 2,500 square meters. The plaque "Zhongjiang Di" is hung on the main entrance of the ancestral hall. There are hundreds of acres of good farmland in front of the ancestral hall, with crisscrossing water channels and the Pomegranate River passing by the village. Today, almost no one lives in the Deng Clan Ancestral Hall. But dozens of rooms with corridors running through them, the gate towers inside the walls, etc. are still preserved. Key cultural relics of Luzhai County.

Breathing in the mountains and fields, Liuzhou also has its own 'Altay'
The free wind blows towards the grassland, I really really really like this place! !
Vast grasslands, this is the fairy tale world of Hayao Miyazaki. I don't love the city, only the mountains and fields. The endless grassland may be the original appearance of the earth, running is the standard here, every time facing the wind is an impromptu indulgence!
I once thought that nature only added a base color here, but when I got closer, I found that the vast land had already been finely carved. This slowly unfolding canvas reveals exquisite craftsmanship in its regularity, dotted with a myriad of colors.

Yingshan Community Red Station in Zhongdu Ancient Town
Located in Zhongdu Town, Luzhai County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Zhongdu Town was established in the first year of Ganlu of the Eastern Wu Dynasty (AD 265), and it is a traditional ancient town with a history of nearly 2000 years. During the Republic of China period, it was the seat of the Zhongdu County government, and to this day, it still retains city walls, city gates, ancient bridges, business houses, the old site of the Zhongdu County government during the Republic of China, and a large number of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Red Station I am introducing is the Luzhai County Family Tradition Education Base, which displays the historical scenes of the Zhongdu people building socialist New China under the guidance of Mao Zedong's thoughts in the sixties and seventies of the twentieth century, which still feels intimate today.
The station is open to the public for free.

A real-life Zelda? This place in Guangxi is well hidden
Coordinates: Xiangqiao Karst National Geopark, Luzhai, Liuzhou, Guangxi
You Guangxi locals keep such places to yourselves, don't you?
Is it to make outsiders who come to visit feel left out?
This time, while traveling to Liuzhou, a local friend brought me here.
Although the journey was a bit long, the beauty of being there in person is truly breathtaking.
With only a few other visitors, one could say you have the whole scenery to yourself.
Looking down from the mountain top, the opposite side looks like a huge stone bridge carved out by a meteorite.
Walking under the stone bridge, the emerald clear river water feels like stepping into Jiuzhaigou.
It's really too 'Zelda'.

In Liuzhou | Stop crowding into Longtan Park
Weekend self-drive tourists or friends visiting Liuzhou, this place has beautiful scenery with fewer people, and it's super photogenic!!
Navigation🧭: Luzhai Xiangqiao Karst National Geopark
It's about an hour and a half drive from Liuzhou
Tickets🎫: 40 RMB per person (I went in March, during Women's Day, women can get half price in March🤣)
Surroundings: Xiangshui Waterfall, Zhongdu Ancient Town, Luoqing River
• It takes about 10 minutes to walk inside to reach the bridge in picture 1, only when you see the water here will you know what crystal clear really means!! This spot is also great for taking photos🉑
• Keep walking up to reach the forest oxygen bar. I went there just after a heavy rain, so the air in the mountains was especially fresh
• Continue on to reach the highest point of the scenic area, the famous 'Stone Frame', from where you can overlook the entire Xiangqiao Karst and even see the distant peaks of mountains, with the karst landscape right before your eyes!!
⚠️Remember to check the weather! It's really beautiful when it's sunny. I went on a cloudy day, so the whole lighting was a bit dark, but it was still very pretty~

Xiangqiao Karst || Just by the name, it must be included in the itinerary
|| Just by the name, it must be included in the itinerary. Xiangqiao Karst Scenic Area is located in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in Luzhai County. It is a large park dominated by karst geology, featuring a collection of unique rocks, secluded caves, and beautiful waters. The park includes attractions such as the Natural Bridge, Immortal Cave, Xiangqiao Canyon, Echoing Waterfall, Jiulong Cave, and Stone Forest.
~
Landscapes:
1. Natural Bridge
The Natural Bridge is a massive natural stone bridge lying across the Xiangqiao Canyon. It is majestic and spectacular. The arch walls of the bridge retain traces of ancient river channels, and both the walls and the ceiling of the cave are adorned with stalactites, making the Natural Bridge a signature landscape of the scenic area.
2. Echoing Waterfall
The Echoing Waterfall is located at the end of the canyon and is a rare large low-head sheet waterfall. It consists of four long beaches cascading down from above. During the high-water season, the sound of the water is as loud as thunder, hence the name.
3. Jiulong Cave
The main attractions of Jiulong Cave include the Ancient Banyan Welcoming Guests, Ancient Vines Piercing Stones, and the Water Great Wall. The most distinctive features are the Stone Swimming Dragon, Vines Piercing Stones, Great Desert, and Brain Pattern-like wonders, among which the 'Ancient Vines Piercing Stones' is particularly rare and unique in the world.
Just a brief introduction, friends can go and experience the other landscapes for themselves! 😜

This place is very photogenic, simple and natural
Zhongdu Ancient Town, as one of the well-preserved ancient residential groups, is one of the ancient towns around Liuzhou that is not overly commercialized! The Zhongdu Ancient Town, which was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, is a community of blue bricks and gray tiles, with wooden frames. There are still many well-preserved old shops, inns, ancient houses and other buildings, and there are still many original residents in the town.
Elderly people taking a break, children swimming in the river, and aunties washing clothes on the shore, such simple folk customs, although most of the buildings in the ancient town have been renovated, the old stone roads still testify to the history of the town.
✨Scenic Spots✨
🤜Cliff Carvings
(1) The cliff carving 'One Side Guarantee' records the civil and military achievements of the Ming Dynasty in suppressing the Yao rebellion during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Through the smoke of history, through the tunnel of time, it seems to see the bloody scene of the Yao compatriots fighting against the bloody rule of the Ming Dynasty.
(2) 'Jing Guan': This stone carving was originally located at the foot of the mountain in the western suburbs of Zhongdu. After the rulers suppressed the peasant rebel army in Zhongdu and Pingshan, they carved the two characters 'Jing Guan' in a huge stone weighing about 70 tons, with the right side reading 'Pacified the rebellion of the lower half of Luodou, beheaded more than 500 heads', and the left side reading 'Written in July of the third year of Wanli'. Luodou is now Pingshan Town. This stone was destroyed during the 'Learn from Dazhai in Agriculture' campaign in the 1970s when stones were taken for water conservancy construction. In 2005, the Cultural Department of Luzhai County restored it to the old county village Aoyu Mountain.
(3) Niu Jiao Ao Stone Carving: Located on the side of the road at Sanmendai Niu Jiao Ao, 8 kilometers east of Zhongdu City, on a stone about 1 meter high and about 0.7 meters wide, the words 'Ten stone masons from Quanzhou recorded the good deeds of the Taiping Army, mouth-to-mouth, on the 27th day of the leap month' are carved. According to research, when the Taiping Army's Wing King Shi Dakai's department returned to Guangxi to attack Guilin City and failed, they abandoned the city and went south, passing through Zhongdu on the way from Yongfu to cross Dahua Mountain. From the unrefined calligraphy and carving, it was carved by the soldiers at the time or the 10 stone masons from Quanzhou who were carving stones here. It has great research value for military and history.
In addition, Zhongdu also has the ancient Yu Yan fossil site, La Gan Yan cliff carvings and many other scenic spots and historical sites.
🤜Bronze Drum
On May 18, 1985, it was discovered when digging for iron ore in Shitan Nong, 2 kilometers away from Zhongdu Town. The drum surface has a diameter of 66.6 cm and a height of 52.5 cm. There are 4 frogs and 2 war horses carrying warriors around it. The drum surface and the surroundings are all decorated with water wave patterns, spiral patterns, and grass patterns. It is preliminarily identified as a bronze drum from the Western Han Dynasty and is now stored in the Autonomous Region Museum.
🤜Qing Shi Yan
8 kilometers away from Zhongdu Town, the rock is about 200 meters long, the widest area is about 5000 square meters, and the narrowest part is only 50 cm. There are many stone scenes in the rock, each with a different shape. Xiangqiao Yan, located in the town, 12 kilometers away from the Zhongdu Town Government, the cave is 4 meters high, 60 meters long, and 22 meters wide. The stone scenery inside the cave is strange and varied. Outside the cave is a cliff and deep valley, more than 30 meters deep, with ravines and rocks at the bottom of the valley; a large stone hangs over a pool of clear water on the right side of the cliff; a hundred meters away, a majestic natural stone bridge spans the sky, majestic and spectacular, known as Xiangqiao. The river under the bridge is rolling and winding in the foothills. There are many poems and essays carved on the wall inside the cave, which people call 'Taoyuan Zhenjing'
🌺The scenery of Zhongdu Ancient Town is picturesque, with a rich cultural heritage. It is a good place for leisure travel and taking pictures.
