Hotel Experience at Lvliang·Manxin Hotel
Overall Impression: Exquisite Budget Hotel
A boutique budget hotel under Huazhu, focusing on meticulous design
🏨Hotel Environment:
Overall, it's good. The lobby has several public rest areas of various sizes, but the total area is not very large. There are two elevators, and the corridors and elevator areas look relatively clean.
The guest rooms are labeled as 28 square meters. The space is not large, but it doesn't feel cramped. The provided water and tea are quite good. The bathroom is not big, with the sink outside, an automatic toilet, and convenient operation of the shower, lights, and air conditioning.
🛏Room Facilities:
The room has a small sofa, a refrigerator, a long table, a small stool, and a round tea table. The lighting is appropriate. A robot delivers water. There are no bathrobes in the room, so when the robot came, I had to open the door wrapped in a bath towel to get the water. There is a public gym on the 3rd floor with a few treadmills.
🍲Food Recommendations:
A very small restaurant, with an estimated 50 varieties. The standard is typical for a budget hotel, with noodles and wontons, dried tofu, and fruits. Both the variety and taste are quite good.
👍Most Recommended:
The hotel service is quite good. Breakfast is from 7 to 11 AM, and there are phone stands prepared on the dining tables, which I saw for the first time. When checking out, the front desk proactively offered me a bottle of water, and another young man actively helped me with parking in the backyard.

Seeking the Hidden Ancient Temple - Anguo Temple
🌄 Seeking the Hidden Ancient Temple - Anguo Temple
Address: Nestled about 1 kilometer west of Dujia Mountain Village in Lishi District, Lvliang City, Anguo Temple awaits your visit.
📜 Originally named Anji Temple, this place is not only a sacred site for cultivation but also the study place of Yu Chenglong, known as the 'First Honest Official.' The mountain breeze gently blows, and the sound of pine waves seems to tell stories of a thousand years.
🏛 Built in the 11th year of the Tang Zhenguan period (637 AD), it was renamed Anguo Temple in the 3rd year of the Song Jiayou period (1058 AD). It has been renovated throughout the dynasties, witnessing the vicissitudes of the Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
🏰 Existing structures: The Mahavira Hall and the Copper Pagoda are treasures from the Ming Dynasty, while most of the other buildings were constructed during the Qing Dynasty. Facing north to south, the layout resembles a carpenter's square, with three main courtyards: the Buddha Hall Courtyard, the Yu Zhongcheng Public Shrine Courtyard, and the Laigong Villa Courtyard forming the main body of this ancient temple.
🌈 The Mahavira Hall, with five wide bays and three deep bays, features a single-eave gable roof, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient artisans. The murals, covering about 80 square meters, are meticulously painted in bright colors from the Qing Dynasty, with vivid and lifelike images.
🏗 The Copper Pagoda, with two stories and double-eave gable roofs, and the Bell and Drum Tower with single-eave gable roofs, were built by Yu Zhun, the grandson of Yu Chenglong. Every brick and tile reveals the sediment of history.
🏡 The Yu Zhongcheng Public Shrine, rebuilt in the 7th year of the Yongzheng period (1729 AD), extends along the central axis from east to west with a main gate, a screen wall, and a main hall, each step paying homage to history.
🏞️ Temple scenery: 20 halls and towers, 10 cave dwellings, 6 gates, and 1 stone archway. Each building tells a story, and every corner hides the sediment of time.
⛰️ Review:
Anguo Temple is built along the mountain, with a staggered layout. The Laigong Villa is ingeniously constructed under the cliff halfway up the mountain, facing a deep valley with clear springs forming streams. The scenery is unique, and the construction is exquisite. This place is not only a sacred site for cultivation but also a perfect embodiment of the site selection philosophy of Shanxi's mountain architecture.
Shanxi Lvliang Oriental Lily Hotel
A hotel with integrated dining and accommodation. This is my first time in Lvliang, and I feel that this hotel must have some history.
The lobby is very large, and there is a restaurant on the first floor. I didn't eat there, so I don't know how the food tastes.
The room is very large. When I entered, I almost thought it was a suite because it is very spacious. The bathroom is also very large, and it looks luxurious in photos. There is a bathtub.
The room has green plants and a computer, and all the equipment is in good condition.
The bed is a 1.8-meter large bed. The bed is quite comfortable, and I had a good sleep.
Discovered a hidden gem hotel in Lüliang‖Aifei Hotel
Driving from Lanzhou, I decided to take a break midway in Lüliang and came across Aifei Hotel. I hadn't heard of the name before, but the stay was quite pleasant. Considering the cost-effectiveness, it was a comfortable and clean place to stay with convenient transportation. For this price in Lüliang, I am very satisfied with this hotel; it made me feel relaxed.

Hotel Experience:
The hotel is near Century Plaza.
The front desk staff are kind, the lobby is grand, and the service is excellent.
As soon as you enter, there's a washbasin, a very large bed with freshly changed sheets, a sofa, and a portable coffee table. Opposite is a large floor-to-ceiling window where you can see ladies dancing in the square. Downstairs is a night market snack street with lots of delicious food. The atmosphere feels very friendly. I bought four egg pancakes for one yuan. Though small, they were quite tasty.😋

Every picture of Queenstown is my dream. 😍
I am deeply in love with the Tiffany blue of New Zealand 🇳🇿
It's so dreamy that it brings tears to my eyes 😢
On the beach and under the trees, there are many people sitting and lying down 🏖️🌳
It's a true embodiment of a "relaxed" lifestyle 😌
Everyone is taking their time, unhurriedly 🚶♂️
I feel that my anxious heart becomes dazed and calms down just by being here, basking in the sun ☀️
I am so happy 😊
Just sitting here quietly, in stillness, already feels like a blessing 🙏
I've added another item to my wish list: I want to retire here 🏡
With the wind blowing and the sun shining, I feel free and at ease 🍃
It reminds me of a quote I recently came across 📖
"I gradually realized that what one needs to live in this world is actually very little, and happiness and peace are easily attainable. I don't need anyone's approval or arrangement; I just need to move forward step by step according to my own pace, waiting for time to flow peacefully over me." 🌊

The Jade Emperor Tower, also known as the 'Huanglu Treasure Altar Jade Emperor Tower' or 'Lingxu Tower', is a two-story pavilion-style building established in the seventh year of Ming Jingtai (1457). The plan is square, three rooms wide and two rooms deep, with double eaves and a hipped roof, covered with grey tube tiles, and both floors have wooden column corridors. The door plaque reads 'Huanglu Treasure Altar'. The first floor Lingguan Hall enshrines the Jade Pivot Fire Mansion Heavenly General Wang Lingguan, and the second floor Jade Emperor Tower enshrines the Jade Emperor. There is an ancient stele on the west side of the building, Shanxi·China, which is the earliest stele of Fengshan Taoist Temple, 'Rebuilding the Three Yangshan Ancestor Master Xi Yi An Record'.
'Sanyang Mountain' is Fengshan. Fengshan is also known as 'Sanyang Yunfeng Mountain'. According to the 'Yongning State Records', 'Sanyang is taken from the meaning of the sunlight shining from Mao to You; Feng is taken from the color and shape of the mountain having the meaning of the Danfeng facing the sun; Yun is taken from the meaning of the idle clouds often depending on this mountain'. 'Ancestor Master Xi Yi' is Chen Tun. When Chen Tun Hall was first built, it was originally named Xi Yi An.
To the west of the Jade Emperor Tower is Chen Tun Hall. Because Chen Tun was given the title of 'Baiyun Master' by Chai Rong, the Emperor of the Later Zhou Dynasty, it is also known as Baiyun Cave. It is the earliest temple on Fengshan, built during the Song Dynasty, rebuilt during the Yuan Dynasty and destroyed, and rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty. According to the 'Rebuilding the Three Yangshan Xi Yi Ancestor Master An Record' in the view, it was rebuilt by Wang Hunran in the thirteenth year of Hongwu (1383), and was rebuilt by Sun Yunji and his disciples in the first year of Ming Jingtai (1450).
The hall is a brick and wood structure, three rooms wide and two rooms deep, with a single eave hanging mountain top. The shape under the eaves is complex, with blue and green paintings, very gorgeous. The roof is covered with grey tube tiles, and the edges of the green glazed tiles are cut. The main ridge is decorated with yellow and green glazed tiles, the middle ridge is towering, and the two ends are facing each other.
The hall enshrines Chen Xiyi. There is a Ming Dynasty mural of nearly 30 square meters on the west wall of the hall, which is a colored mural of 'Building Wudang Mountain Palace Response Map' painted in the eleventh year of Yongle (1425), with gold leaf and gold powder, depicting the overall architectural distribution map of Wudang Mountain and the map of the gods showing their spirits. The upper part of the mural is the 'Ten Times God Master Manifestation Map', and the lower part is the 'Bird's Eye View of Wudang Mountain', which respectively depict the eight palaces, ten rocks and other scenic spots, and have great historical and artistic value.
Pathfinder Episode 23: Thousand Buddha Cave in Lvliang, Shanxi
Arrived at the Thousand Buddha Cave in Jiaokou County, Lvliang City at 11:00 noon.
The gate of the Thousand Buddha Cave is right next to the Subei route, five meters away, very close.
🌸I assure the government that when I passed through Jiaokou County, Lvliang City from the national highway, I really thought the Thousand Buddha Cave by the roadside was a ruin at first glance:
The gate is wide open, the outer wall is dilapidated, there is no one around, and you can enter and exit at will. Only when I looked closely at the mark at the gate did I know it was a national key cultural relic, this... that... Shanxi's cultural relics are really too abundant!
The Daxiong Treasure Hall is a grotto built in the Yuan Dynasty, with a total of 1003 Buddha statues on the side walls, hence the name Thousand Buddha Cave.
The rest of the buildings are relics from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
🌸There are many statues in the side hall, and I actually found the eldest brother Sun Wukong at the corner of the last row of Buddha statues!!

On the edge of the Yellow River, a town that was once prosperous and now abandoned, Qikou Ancient Town, located in the middle of the Yellow River Jinshan Gorge, named after the Yellow River Datong. In ancient times, the lower reaches of the Yellow River were dangerous. The vessels that flowed upstream often stopped at the mouth of the river and turned to dry roads. It was once an important water and land transportation hub. At the time of the port, the port was more than 100 ships a day, and it was a veritable Huanghe town. Look here to see the Yellow River rolling, see the loess kiln full of mountains, taste the last cup of homesickness.

The mall is also rubbing shoulders, especially the glass bridge of the International Trade City. There are so many people, but it is not exciting, but everyone wants to see it.

More and more people are inseparable from telephone, internet, and urban life, and they still stay in the ancient house of two hundred years - cave, maybe wait for decades, like other caves Grass is born. And they just want to stay in this time and enjoy the beauty of this moment.
Lvliang Cave Dwelling in Shanxi Province, the original Shanxi folk house.
Lijiashan Village is a group of cave dwellings. It was discovered by famous painter Wu Guanzhong when he went to Lijiashan in October 1989. He was shocked by hundreds of thousands of caves in Lijiashan Village, he said.
The kiln cave building is a wonderful metaphor for the village in the ravine on the Loess Plateau, which is nearly 70 degrees on the hillside. A layer of cave dwellings was dug up on a layered platform. The households of one household live in the hillsides on both sides.
Most of the people staying in the village today are white-haired old people. They often move a Mazar, sitting in front of their home, under the ravine. When the tourists came, they got up and sold their own red dates and other agricultural products in their own land. At other times, they looked quietly at the opposite side, facing the loess, and leaning back on the loess.
So quiet and slow but with a visual impact, the contemporary art master Wu Guanzhong is full of praise. He called Li Jiashan "looking from the outside like a desolate Han tomb. Once inside, it is a very old cave. The ancient village is relatively closed, like a peach garden, such a village, such a house, all over the place. The world is hard to find" and listed it as one of the three major discoveries in life.
There are two major roads to Lijiashan. After crossing the Qilin River Kirin Bridge, you will see a mountain road on the left hand side. When you encounter all the intersections along the road, choose the road on the right and you will reach the top of Lijiashan in about 1 hour. Or follow the road along the Yellow Highway and see the brand of the national historical and cultural village of Lijiashan. Walk here on the mountain road and reach the bottom of Lijiashan Village.
When you mention the town, what do you think of? Is it the homeland cage that you were eager to break through when you were young? Is it the soft corner of your heart when you struggle outside? It is a time to temporarily turn off the retreat where the mobile phone can escape, or a museum that revisits traditional interpersonal relationships.
With the seriousness of urbanization, the county is busy becoming a city, the township is busy becoming a county, and the village is busy becoming a township... but with the destruction of the environment, the disappearance of ancient architecture, tradition The layers of life are regressed. The more we are afraid of losing, the more we should cherish it. The word of the old town is now given a small, traditional, quiet and intimate meaning.
