It has clear and cool water that falls in a 1,000 sq. m. river channel area. Its surrounding is vegetated with various wild plants and trees. A natural Falls with irrigation on its 2km. pathway and cliff on the right portion. Cold spring water flows freely from Mt. Banahaw. The site, which is about 8.0 km. Away from the Majayjay town proper, it can be reached via motor vehicles and through hiking about a few hundred meters by way of a nature trail. It was summer when our Family friend invited my family to join them to go to a falls. It was my first time going to the Falls. That's why I'm so happy to join. From Lucena City, we ride a 2 Jeep, and it is rented, that's why we're all in there. Then 2-3 hours, I think, we arrive at the parking lot of the Taytay Falls. Then after that, we hike about a hundred meters, even if it is far, it is fun to walk and smell the fresh air, and see various wild plants and Trees. I am enjoying the view and walking. When we are near, we see a hanging bridge. It is best to cross the Hanging bridge and take some pictures. Then from the hanging bridge, you can hear the sound of the water because you are near. And we walked a little and saw the Majestic Falls. I was amazed by the falls. I felt happy and excited to go near the falls. There are rented tables that can be rented, and there are Big rock formations where you can put your things. The water in the Fall was so cold and clean & clear. This was the Best Falls so far that I visited, and I am looking forward to going to other Falls in the Philippines. And some tips you should not forget to bring your camera. And before I forgot, the Entrance fee is so cheap, it's only 30.00 pesos, but I don't know how much it will cost for the Fare. That's all. Have a Nice trip. About a 4 hour road trip from Manila that's worth every minute! Not your typical nature getaway as Majayjay falls is not yet commercialized. There are no starbucks or 7/11s anywhere near it. To get to the falls you'll need to climb down a steep set of steps then take a 10-15minutes hike. While the steps are paved and there are railings, you will still be fully immersed in the sights and sounds of the wild. Some people stay overnight so bring camping gear and food. The water is refreshingly cold and crystal clear. Try it and enjoy!!!
