Vacationing in the Philippines!! Just a light holiday⛱️ I didn't have high expectations for the trip to Boracay, as the islands in Southeast Asia are quite similar, and since there were no new major hotels on Boracay, I had to choose Shangri-La, thinking it would be a peaceful vacation with the family. The result was completely beyond my expectations. The facilities show their age, but Shangri-La maintains them very well, and the service, restaurants, and spa are all quite good (though the Mediterranean restaurant was a bit lacking). It was beautiful! It’s something you don’t see by the usual beaches of Boracay. They’re developing the area and I see potential. It is near the private beach of Belmont Hotel and they also have stalls there that sells souvenirs, food, and drinks. Plus they also have lounges by the beach where you can sit, or lay down and relax. Nice view for picture taking. I would recommend going on the afternoon since photos will be against the light if you visit here in the morning. #boracaytrip
