If you are looking for a family friendly resort, I recommend you to stay Cretan Malia Park, a beach front hotel set in a lush green gardens. We stayed in a charming suite room with a long river pool, you can swim up to a main pool and side children’s pool just next to it. Everything is provided in your room including slippers, bath robes, olive based bath products ( so nice!), free wifi access. Elegantly decorated and beautiful tiled floors, light and airy lobby area, bungalows perfect for family’s with small children. Garden area with lovely plants, trees and flowers offers you a stress-free holiday and ideal for morning walks with kids. My highlight was starting my day with a delicious Cretan breakfast served in the restaurants garden area. Local honey, Greek yoghurt and homemade pies are my favourites! 🍯 🥧 There are several restaurants on site, which offer different types of taste; I can say that they were all equally great, freshly cooked to order, served with a friendly and attentive staff members. Highly recommended you to visit Mouries Cretan Restaurant for evening dinner 🥘 There are so much things to do at Cretan Malia Park; Yoga sessions for adults, fitness area, fun activities for younger children, kids playgrounds and much more.. Spa treatments were divine, I have been looking forward for this and never disappointed. One of my favorite places in Crete One of my favorite places in Crete. I lived here and I can say it's one of the most comfortable places to relax. The location is convenient. There are wild beaches. The food and coffee are delicious everywhere.

The cafe is located in a beautiful old villa with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was super delicious and healthy. We ordered the Soft shell tacos with slow cooked pulled jerk chicken and Thai spiced chicken w/ raw papaya slaw, coconut rice, charred lime and home made satay sauce. Must say the presentation was delightful. Everything was fresh and yummy, and the portions were generous. The iced milo was also excellent to sip along, and they had a variety of options to choose from. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. #mediterraneanfood#staycation
