Let's talk about the hidden fairy-tale island, Comino Island, it's just like something out of a storybook! You have to take a boat from Cirkewwa terminal, where there's a little ticket booth. A round-trip ticket is only 15 euros per person, and that includes a trip to Gozo Island! Once you get off the boat, you'll see the stunning Blue Lagoon, with its jellyfish-blue waters that are so beautiful you'll lose all your friends in awe! Oh, and remember, there are no changing facilities on the island, so be sure to wear your swimsuit on the boat. And don't forget to bring sunscreen and a sun hat to protect your skin so you can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery! In short, Malta is really a place worth visiting, and you guys should definitely go and have fun if you have the chance!

I was recommended by my friend. She was telling me how beautiful Malta was and here we go! I spent 4days and 3 nights in Malta. Aside from all the tourists spots, I would recommend you to visit Popeyes village. This is not somewhere that will be recommended to tourist, kinda like hidden spot. The village was built in 1980 for film and it became the major tourist attractions in Malta. Trust me! It is definitely worth to visit. The sea view and houses around were just amazing, especially during the evening. From Valletta, you can take 222 bus to Mellieha Bay, change to 237 bus to reach the village. There are many “taking picture” spots that you can explore around. Popeye Village 📍Triq Tal-Prajjet, Il-Mellieħa, Malta In Malta, I was exploring around their local food. I would definitely recommend you to try Caviar& Bull. The caviar tasted so good! Aside from Caviar, we ordered Beef Rib eyes and spaghetti as our main. The beef rib eyes was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the spaghetti sauce was a lil to sour for us. We also ordered baked pumpkin. It doesn’t taste like normal pumpkin that we usually had. But we find it very interesting. As a coconut lover, I ordered one of the cocktail from the drinks menu. It was kinda like pineapple 🍍 + coconut 🥥. It tastes so so good and it was served with a layer of shredded coconut on top. P/s: The bread that they served before meal was so delicious and we even ordered extra portion! Haha 😆 So check it out! Malta’s romantic and picturesque capital city is characterized by brightly colored balconies, narrow alleyways and domed cupolas. Spend whole day exploring the cathedrals, forts and twisting streets of Valletta. In that time, I visited the Co-Cathedral of St John, strolled through the Upper Barakka Gardens, and soaked in views of the city’s pictureque skyline from its waterfront. Day 2: The Three Cities of Malta offer an intriguing insight in the island’s history. Left largely unvisited, these fortified cities offer a glimpse into Malta’s maritime fortunes. Mdina: The Silent City The mysterious gold-stone city of Mdina sits smack in the middle of the country and affords breathtaking views of the island’s arid terrain from its fortified walls. Deemed Malta’s Silent City, Mdina is characterized by shaded alleyways, arched doorways exquisite balconies and the beautiful St Paul’s Cathedral that towers over the city’s maze of golden buildings. Day 3: Southern Malta. Marxaslokk Fishing Village is a quaint and colorful fishing village characterized by its picturesque harbor. In the Marxaslokk Harbor, traditional boats bob up and down, creating a colorful contrast to the city’s golden buildings. These cheery boats are known locally as luzzus and are painted in bright, primary colors. Each boat is decorated with eyes that are said to protect the fishermen at sea. Every Sunday, the whole population of Malta seems to flock to Marxaslokk to attend the fish market–a weekly affair featuring everything from swordfish to sea bream to rockfish to clams. Then try St Peter’s Pool–a nearby swimming hole that is a favorite among locals. Had my day trip to southern Malta gone flawlessly, my visit to the megalithic temples would have been followed by a stop at the Blue Grotto. Yet, a combination of poor planning and a winter reduction in visiting hours meant that I arrived at the site’s ticket booth shortly after it had closed. It was only 3:30pm, but the last boat ride to the caves had already left a few minutes prior.

I was excited to visit Malta and get to know its culture because it seemed like such a unique European destination. Throughout the years, Malta was ruled by the Romans, Arabs, and Brits, to name a few, and you can feel the mix of cultures in everything and everywhere. I preferred to stay in Valetta, is more convenient to reach everywhere, also it was easier to move around by boat or either hop on -hop off In this case, I stayed at Tano’s Boutique Guesthouse. Ideally, you’ll want to travel to Malta in mid or late spring, early summer, or early fall to enjoy the best weather and avoid the summer ccrowd ✨I highly recommend visiting these places 📍 Valetta: it is walkable you can spend many relaxing hours wandering the romantic alleyways and exploring the city, and it’s easy to access every place. I went to the Upper BarrakaGardens first and then Lower Barrakka Gardens same. They offer a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour ( It’s nice during the sunset) 📍 Mdina: also called the Silent City, is surrounded by fortified bastion walls and sits on top of one of the highest hills of Malta. 📍 The small and picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk 📍Popeye Village: it’s a fun place with an amazingly built film-set seaside.
