The store is chock-full of autographs from celebrities and popular artists. ✨
A mecca for breakfast udon, representing Kagawa.
✅2. Susaki Grocery Store (Mitoyo)
My personal number one udon restaurant! This was the one with the longest line! 🔥The noodles are chewy and incredibly firm—truly exquisite. ✨
Make sure to try the "cold noodles"!
Their firmness is far superior to the warm ones.
✅3. Merikenya Takamatsu Ekimae Branch (Takamatsu)

Enjoy a high-quality meal at Kotohira Asan Kotonami Hot Spring Hotel with premium ingredients and excellent service
#2023TravelWish #HotspringHotel #Japan #JapaneseHotels #Shikoku
Hot spring hotels generally offer a one-night stay and two-meals package. The two meals include dinner and breakfast. The dining experience during my stay at Qinnan Tang Villa was very unforgettable. From fresh ingredients to exquisite presentation to thoughtful service, everything is absolutely six-star.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the same place. Dinner is Kaiseki cuisine, which uses the freshest seasonal ingredients to create exquisite and delicious dishes. The breakfast is a traditional Japanese set meal, which can reflect the local flavor. The meals are presented in a variety of ways, including roasting, boiling, baking, and raw cutting. I am very satisfied in all aspects. I can feel that they made it with care and sincerity. 👍👍👍

Mannou Park🎄💡✨️
The illuminations at Sanuki Manno National Government Park were impressive, taking advantage of the natural terrain and showing off their vast scale. The lights spread throughout the vast park, and the scenery changes every time you walk, making it feel like you're strolling through light. The illuminations are particularly impressive around the hills and ponds, where they're arranged in a three-dimensional way, both in photos and in person. The wide range of displays, from colorful and cute to areas with a calming, dreamy atmosphere, makes it enjoyable for people of all ages. It's cold at night, but the clear air makes the lights look even more beautiful, creating a special winter experience. It was a highly satisfying illumination experience, recommended for couples, friends, and families. #DomesticTravel #Kagawa #Illuminations

Hydrangea Festival @ Mannou Park (Kagawa)
📍Location: Sanuki Mannou National Park, Kagawa Prefecture
I went to the "Hydrangea Festival" held at Mannou Park in Kagawa Prefecture. The vast grounds were filled with colorful hydrangeas, creating a truly fantastic scene. There are also many photo spots, making it a wonderful event that can be enjoyed even during the rainy season. There are few people on weekdays, so you can take your time taking photos in a humid atmosphere. It's recommended as a destination for early summer outings!

Manno Lake, Big Sky Energy in Kagawa
#springitinerary Manno Lake is the kind of place where you just instantly relax. It’s the largest reservoir in Japan, but honestly, it feels more like a peaceful hidden getaway than anything super official. Surrounded by gentle hills and open skies, it’s perfect for slow strolls, lazy picnics, or just sitting on a bench and zoning out. The views are super calming, especially around sunset when the light hits the water just right.
If you’re into biking or running, there’s a nice path that loops around the lake, and in spring, cherry blossoms make it feel extra magical. It’s also right next to Sanuki Manno Park, so you can double up on chill nature time. There’s nothing flashy or touristy about it, and that’s kind of the best part. Whether you’re a local or just road-tripping through Kagawa, Manno Lake is a sweet, quiet spot to reset your brain.

Sanuki Manno Park Is a Hidden Gem
#springitinerary Sanuki Manno Park in Kagawa is seriously underrated. It’s one of those places that’s perfect for just vibing out in nature without a huge crowd. The park is massive, like, bring-your-walking-shoes massive and it changes with the seasons. In spring, it’s packed with tulips and cherry blossoms, in summer, sunflowers and fireworks; and autumn brings this epic sea of cosmos flowers.
There are wide open lawns for picnics, a playground if you’ve got kids, and even a giant slide that adults secretly love too. Rent a bike, chill by the lake, or just stroll through the flower gardens at your own pace. It’s peaceful, colorful, and kind of feels like a dream sometimes, especially if you catch it during peak bloom. Not many tourists know about it, so it’s got a super local vibe. If you're in Shikoku and want a slow, nature-filled day, this park’s a win.

Sanuki Manno National Government Park
Sanuki Manno Park
A leisure and entertainment place full of seasonal flowers
This is a national park next to Manno Pond, Japan's largest reservoir (a pond for storing agricultural water).
There is a dragon god legend in Mannongchi, which is a mascot in the image of a dragon. In addition to a huge artificial waterfall, the park also has a forest where bamboo shoots and mushrooms are cultivated, a hill where a variety of flowers bloom according to the season, a bicycle route, an activity center with experience courses and teaching classrooms, a natural ecological garden, and a car camping site. It is a collection of various tourist attractions that make good use of natural resources.
Seasonal events are held from time to time, such as the "Spring Festival" with daffodils and tulips in full bloom in spring and the "Winter Dream World" with beautiful illuminations in winter.
This national park can be used as a base for culture, sports, and entertainment. I believe you can spend a whole day here happily.

[Enjoy the transition from green to red]
📍Manno Park, Kagawa Prefecture
Manno Park is planted with kochia,
which is called by its Japanese name "houkigusa" or "houkigi."
The name comes from the fact that in the past, the branches were dried and used to make brooms.
The leaves turn bright green in August and begin to turn red in mid-September,
and the scenery becomes beautiful and spectacular in mid-October.
In fact, it is the raw material for "tonburi," a local dish of Akita Prefecture, and is called "caviar of the field." (※The kochia in this park is an ornamental variety.)
6,000 kochia trees are planted on the Flower Tour Hill in the park, and you can enjoy the changing colors as they turn from green to red.

[The beautiful collaboration of nemophila and tulips]
📍Manno Park, Kagawa Prefecture
Nemophila is native to North America and produces small pale blue flowers with a diameter of about 2 to 3 centimeters.
At the National Sanuki Manno Park, approximately 480,000 nemophila trees are planted in three locations within the park, and they also create a beautiful combination with tulips.
At the Flower Tour Hill, where flowers bloom in every season, approximately 350,000 nemophila trees cover the entire slope, dyeing the hill blue.
You can enjoy strolling along the promenade and taking photos while watching the flowers swaying in the gentle breeze.
