The awe-inspiring Mengle Great Buddha Temple
🔱 The Mengle Great Buddha Temple was the royal temple of the ancient Chen Dynasty, with the Great Golden Pagoda at the top of the mountain. From here, you can see the cityscape of Jinghong, and it's super easy to take great photos❕
🔱【Attraction】The architecture here is very Southeast Asian, with many details that are photogenic. If you observe carefully, you'll find that many designs are very exquisite. Take an electric cart up to the top, and there are performances in the central courtyard of the plaza.

1️⃣There is a sightseeing car within the attraction, with more than three thousand steps. There are two ways to go: walking or by car. Those who like to exercise can consider walking.
2️⃣We took the car to the top of the mountain first, then walked down the stairs to return. The route is Great Buddha Temple - Viewing Platform - Great Golden Hall - Water Splashing Square and back. There are performance activities and water splashing activities at the Water Splashing Square.

In front of the main hall's lotus pond, the temple corridors, and under the Bodhi tree are all great spots for photos～
1️⃣The viewing platform overlooks Jinghong City, which is relatively easy to photograph, while avoiding the things below the mountaintop and the railings.
2️⃣The Great Golden Hall is splendid, and every corner is photogenic. It's better to take photos outside the door and in the corridors. When I posted on social media, people thought I went to Thailand.
3️⃣There are green dragons on both sides of the steps, giving a Southeast Asian vibe.
1. When taking photos, try to shoot from a low angle to avoid crowds in the frame.
2. Participating in the water splashing activities at the Water Splashing Square is fun, be sure to rent a costume or bring your own Dai ethnic costume to blend into the scene (light-colored clothes look good).

After lunch, I took a car to Mengle Great Buddha Temple/Manlong Maple Holiday Resort·Jinghong. It cost 40 yuan per person to take an electric car up, presenting a tropical 🌴 scenery enchanting . Sitting under the Bodhi tree, with the prayer ribbons 🎀 fluttering in the breeze, it feels as if there's a connection with Buddha 🈶 .
