Martin Auto Museum 🏎️✨
I don't know a lot about cars but I love the history of them and all the info. They all were beautiful. Each car had a stand in front of it displaying info about the vehicle. The price was very reasonable to get in and everyone working there was so nice.
We really appreciate being able to not only touch but sit in them to get the full experience. If it weren’t due to hunger striking we would have been here even longer. The staff was friendly and they were walking around in case we had questions.
The place is also very clean and well kept. There is also a nice small arcade and gift shop. I would recommend for everyone.

A Different Kind of Autumn in the Desert 🌵🍂
#fallcolors
Autumn in Phoenix feels different from the traditional fall landscapes filled with colorful forests. At Desert Botanical Garden, the beauty of the season comes from the fascinating shapes of cacti, the warm desert sunlight, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Sonoran Desert.
Walking along the garden's winding trails reveals an incredible collection of desert plants, from towering saguaro cacti to beautiful agaves and unusual succulents. The golden light of the afternoon adds a warm glow to the landscape, creating a wonderful contrast between the desert plants and the surrounding mountains.
What makes this place special is the opportunity to experience autumn in a completely different way. Instead of falling leaves and dense forests, you discover the quiet beauty of a desert ecosystem that thrives in its own unique environment.
If you enjoy photography, the combination of dramatic plant silhouettes and soft evening light can make this garden a memorable stop.
Would you prefer a traditional autumn forest or a peaceful desert garden for your next fall escape? 🍁🌵

[Phoenix • Camelback Mountain] A 3-Hour Full-Body Scramble! Conquering the Hardcore Desert & Magical Sunset of Cholla Trail.
When visiting Phoenix, you absolutely cannot miss the most iconic and challenging landmark—Camelback Mountain! Named for its resemblance to the humps of a resting camel, this mountain is the ultimate vantage point for a bird's-eye view of the entire Valley of the Sun.
We decided to tackle the famous Cholla Trail, and the round trip took us a solid 3 hours. This hike is no joke—the second half is packed with steep rock scrambling that requires you to use both hands and feet to reach the summit. But the breathtaking views along the way are incredibly rewarding!
🌵 Desert Giants at the Trailhead (Pic 2):
The moment we stepped onto the trail, we were greeted by towering Saguaro cacti piercing the sky. Standing at their base and looking up, the sunlight filtered through their arms, radiating ultimate Arizona desert vibes!
🧗 The Endless Red Rock Climb (Pics 3-7):
As we made our way up, the incline gradually grew steeper. Scaling the rugged red rock steps step by step, the view expanded with the elevation. Looking back, the lush green golf courses and neat city grids unfolded before our eyes. The stark contrast between the raw desert and the modern cityscape was absolutely stunning.
🥇 The Glory of the Summit (Pic 8):
After an intense, full-body scramble, we finally stood at the highest peak of Camelback Mountain! Standing at the very edge of the rocks, feeling the wind and overlooking the endless panoramic view of Phoenix below, all the soreness in our legs instantly vanished.
🌅 A Magical Sunset at the Saddle (Pic 1):
As we started our descent, we caught the golden hour just in time. We paused around the Saddle to watch the sun slowly dip below the distant mountains. The golden glow illuminated the Cholla cacti along the trail, making them sparkle like countless torches lighting up the wilderness.
🌆 The Gentle Twilight and City Lights (Pics 9-10):
The sky slowly darkened, fading from gorgeous sunset hues of pink and purple into a deep, mysterious blue. On our way down, the twinkling lights of Phoenix began to turn on, and the whole city gently settled into the night. Under a sky full of stars, we successfully wrapped up this epic Camelback Mountain adventure!
🧗♂️ Traveler's Ramblings:
Even though Camelback Mountain is a hardcore hike, the desert ecology along the way and the summit views make it so worth it! Hiking down during that magical transition between sunset and nightfall, surrounded by a cactus-filled desert with the city's neon lights glowing below—this is undeniably the most romantic way to experience Arizona's night views.

Great Family Tubing Experience
Our first time river tubing was an absolute blast! We went as a family and had so much fun bouncing along the river. I paired up with my 8-year-old, and he adored every moment—splashing, spinning off rocks, and soaking in the beautiful scenery. The guides were excellent—fun, engaging, and clearly passionate about their work. They struck the right balance, being entertaining yet firm when necessary.
Afterwards, we could shower and change with provided clean towels and lockers, making everything hassle-free. To top it all off, we even got a meal while drying off. Highly recommend this experience—it’s fantastic fun and totally worth it!

An Amazing Sunset Hike in Arizona
#northamericatrip
Arizona’s sunsets are legendary, and there’s no better way to experience them than on a scenic hike as the day transforms into a kaleidoscope of color. Hiking at sunset combines the adventure of the trail with the peaceful magic of golden-hour light, making it an unforgettable experience.
One of the best places for a sunset hike is Cathedral Rock Trail in Sedona. This steep but short climb rewards hikers with panoramic views of the surrounding red rock formations, glowing in fiery shades of orange and red as the sun dips lower. The rocks seem to come alive in the changing light, creating a surreal and spiritual atmosphere.
For a more desert-centric sunset, head to Pinnacle Peak Trail in Scottsdale. The trail winds through the Sonoran Desert, offering stunning views of iconic saguaro cacti silhouetted against a vibrant sky. The warm hues of the sunset paired with the cool evening breeze create an ideal environment for soaking in the beauty of Arizona’s unique desert landscape.
Another excellent choice is the Doe Mountain Trail in Sedona. The flat mesa at the summit provides a perfect vantage point to watch the sunset over endless layers of red rock cliffs and distant mountains.
As you hike back under the soft twilight glow, don’t forget to pause and enjoy the serenity of the desert night setting in. A sunset hike in Arizona isn’t just a trek—it’s an intimate connection to nature’s artistry, leaving you in awe long after the last light fades.
