#familytrips2024 We stumbled upon this awesome spot in Malacca! Tried the steamed chicken—it was super tender and had a great mix of soy, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic flavors. The rice balls were spot on, not too hard or soft. Everything from the braised tofu to the other dishes was top-notch. The place was chill, and the service was quick. So glad we picked this place over all the fancy chicken rice joints. Definitely coming back to try their roast chicken next time! Love the café cultures, the food, the history here! 📍Jonker 88 This is the must visit destination for me every single time! The star of the store is their famous Nyonya Laksa! Love the broth, thick and flavourful, quite spicy and sour at the same time, it is a burst of flavours in one mouth bite! Love that the noodles are chewy and well cooked. The store is always full house with a long line of patrons waiting for their turns! The queue system is systematic and quite fast moving. 📍Nadeje Their original milk crepe is really good, great layering of cakes as well paired with fresh cream in between. 📍Baba Charlie Nyonya Café The spot for you if you’re looking for various kinds of Nyonya kuih in a go! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

#winhkflight 📍Issac Toast @ Melaka Jalan Kota, Bandar Hilir, 75000 Melaka This cute and quaint sandwich store painted in red caught our eyes while we were strolling at the Malacca river bank and we decided to give it a try! Issac Toast is a toast chain based in Korea. The owner prepared the toast right in front of the store, we got to see the whole toast making process! The bread was nicely buttered and toasted, with slight crisp on the outside. The fillings were generous, topped with shredded cabbage and sauce as well, enhance the crispness and freshness within a bite! Love that the sandwich was served piping hot in a pocket style packaging, so convenient to be eaten! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

We took a stroll at the Malacca riverfront after dinner and it was such a fun and relaxing activity to do while in Melaka! We walked across the bridge and the sight of this pretty river was right in front of us, with beautifully lit up stores and bars at the sides of the river! Another way to explore Malacca river would be by the boat! Love the stroll at night as it was less humid, and the wind was breezy, felt nice! Love the vibrant lights from the stores, the bridge and from the boats passing by! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

#christmastrip #malacca #malaysia Malacca is a lovely city with rich cultural heritage, suitable for day trip from Kuala Lumpur. Yet, you need to be prepared for delays due to congestions along the highway (which can lengthen your ride from 2 hours to 3+ hours...) The historical city centre of Malacca is easily recognised by the numerous buildings painted in brick red, including the stadhyus and church. The light decorations along the Malacca river at night is also impressive.

Wow! What a "Home Away Home" feel for our family trip to Malacca. If you need a good rest and chasing peace of mind. This is the right place to go. I love cities where you can find the cultural heritage of the past. This short alley is definitely a hidden gem in Melacca. You don't be scared by the name of this place, Ghost Bridge or 鬼门关 in chinese. At night, this alley turns into a chill and joyful place. Many cafes and restaurants can be found. I personally enjoy this place by hanging out with friends. It is not too noisy like Jonker street due to too many people. Over here, me and my friends can enjoy our moment with delicious foods and meet up with other people. #melaka #melacca

#malaka My wife and I were holidaying in Malacca Malaysia. After the visit to Jonker Street, we wanted to grab dinner. We came across this restaurant called Restoran Anak Nyonya and thus off we went. We loved the Peranakan ambience as we entered the restaurant. We proceed to order our dinner. The food was very delicious. After that, we ordered chendol as our dessert. #malaka Poh San Teng Temple (宝山亭) is located in Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh, Bukit Cina, Melaka. Just next to the Hang Li Poh Well and Bukit China (where early traders from China were buried). Founded in 18th century, during the era of Dutch Malacca by Chinese Kapitan Chua Su Cheong. It was also built to commemorate Laksamana Zheng Ho (A China mariner, explorer, diplomat who was visited Malacca for 5 times) The Hang Li Poh Well(also known as the King's Well) was built in 1459 by Sultan Mansur Shah for his wife, a princess from China, Princess Hang Li Poh. This place is one of the famous tourist attraction to learn about the history and cultural of Malacca Chinese. Open daily from 8am - 6pm and free admission.

#malaka During my visit to Malacca i been visited many place and did some activity such us visiting the Morten Village and enjoying the night cruise tour by the river there. Beside i was also visiting Selat Mosque which is built beautifully facing the south china Sea. I was also take the change to buy the local favourite desert which is names as ‘keria Antarabangsa Limbongan‘ while there. Though i had to que for almost 1 hour but the taste if the ‘kuih Keria’ is worth for. I slso visited the Malacca Submarine Museum is a good place to spend some half an hour if you happen to be in Klebang or a real navy enthusiast. Especially for Kids will have a great time exploring the submarine and the two fighter jets on display. Inside the submarine it is clean and organised too. Except the entrance fees could be cheaper for malaysian as there nothing much of exhibit. It is because 30min time spend is sufficient enough. Can visit inside the submarine. #awesomepic #mytripvlog

Malacca Old Town was declared as a World Heritage City by UNESCO in year 2008, this old town is rich of Chinese and Baba Nyonya cultural, it will turn into “red” when the Chinese New Year coming. Those pictures were taken in different streets in Old Town quarter, the locals include all those streets under one name which is called Jonker Walk. 10 Kopitiam(十号茶楼) have 3 branches in Klang Valley, this newly open Malacca outlet is located at Taman Kota Laksamana, Malacca. It has a nice blended of Hong Kong and local cuisine, their signature are Kopi Ice No. 10 (thick ice coffee) and Polo Bun, if you like thick coffee, must try! We also ordered the Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and Mee Siam with Rendang Chicken, overall were good and shall revisit again. Originally from Muar, 434 Kopi House Malacca branch is located at 2, Jalan KPMB 1, Kompleks Perniagaan Musai Bistari, Malacca. It's my favourite kopi house in town, their rustic and vintage atmosphere make me feel cozy and relaxing. I love their Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and signature Elephant Coffee very much. Food & beverage overall awesome but pricing was increased 20-40% since half year ago. You can get some packed coffee products from the kopi house too. Located strategically at the front of Malacca's famous night market street, this is one popular shop for tourists to visit. Building interior and exterior is well designed and maintained. A cooling refuge when it gets to hot in the day and a great shopping place for local snacks and produce that make great souvenirs or gifts. Recently during the long weekends we headed down to KL but not before stopping at this popular duck noodles in Malacca. This duck noodle is located in the heart of malacca where you are required to drive pass the jonker street, but being here early in the morning, traffic is a breeze. Its called Tengkara duck noodles, located at Malaysia, Malacca, Taman Kota Laksamana, Jalan Kota Laksamana 1/1 and open as early as 7am and closes right around 1:30pm. You will notice the table here will be filled up generally close to 830 and you will then required to queue and wait for at least 20/30mins for the food. This is popular due to its Braised duck, Braised intestines and also the herbal soup makes this place a gem. After our filling Peranakan meal, we went to get our coffee fix at Heesan Kopi. The vibrant murals and vintage decorations greeted us when we set our foot in. The mix of rattan and wood furniture, the early print ads framed as paintings, the hanging pendant lamps and wall art add nostalgia to the place. Heesan Kopi opens up a world of memories and sentimentality for the past. I ordered the star of the menu (as usual!) - picollo latte in vintage enamel mug. There's even a 囍 word printed on the mug, aligning with its brand very well! The coffee smells and tastes wonderful but it is a tad too small (see the photo of me holding the mug). It only comes in one size when you ordered it in the enamel mug. If you are a heavy coffee drinker, I suggest you cut the frills and just get a black or white in the usual cup. Or order two! The cafe has an extensive menu of dishes - from western brunch to local cuisine. It also has snacks, desserts and other non-caffeneited drinks. It is a great spot for foodies who want to have the best of both worlds and coffee lovers who want to get their daily fix!
