Nabana no Sato Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Holidays at Nabana no Sato, Mie Prefecture
At "Nabana-no-Sato", you can see various flowers and trees through the four seasons. The seasonal events which can be enjoyed from spring to winter are popular.
In winter, one of the largest illuminations in Japan is held (late October - late May).
The scale and the quality are the world's top class.
The place was chosen as the "Popular Sightseeing Spot for Foreigners in 2017".
The spring time flower festival is held from February to late June, and there are many flowers such as plum, Kawazu cherry blossoms, weeping plum, tulips, roses, hydrangea and irises.
In particular, the flower garden is one of the largest in Japan!
Within the premises, you can also enjoy natural hot spring in an outdoor bath on a day trip basis at "Sato-no-Yu" hot spring.
There is also the "Nagashima Beer Garden" where you can drink freshly brewed local beer.

Flowers and light
Nabana no Sato Flower Park is impressive at any time of the year. However, it is especially popular in winter, when light installations shine everywhere.
How to get there
Nabana no Sato can be reached by bus or car.
The park is located on the territory of the Nagashima resort. It takes 35 minutes by bus from Nagoya city center and 50 minutes from Chubu International Airport. If you are traveling by car on local expressways, you need to exit at the Wangan-Nagashima or Nagashima interchange.
Winter lights
There are especially many visitors in the park from mid—October to early May - during the winter illumination season. However, it is no worse at other times of the year. The famous sakura, plum trees, roses, azaleas and much more are blooming here.
From all sides
Each corner of the park has its own theme. In the covered garden of begonias with lots of bright colors it looks stunning. There is also a cozy cafe where you can relax in the middle of the celebration of colors.
Lovers of beautiful landscapes should take a look at the observatory. Here you can relax and have a snack. You will get a more unusual experience on Fuji Island: the local observation deck is at the top of a 45-meter inclined tower. Entrance is paid, but the panoramic views are worth it.
Nabana No Sato - More like Nabana Yes Sato
I specifically booked a trip to Nagoya just to be able to visit Nabana No Sato & every hour of travel was well worth it! From the most colourful of flowers to the amazing Illuminatory display; Nabana No Sato’s radiant presence is sure to capture your hearts and mind! And if you go during Sakura Season you’re DEFINITELY in for a treat! Easily a Do Not Miss destination! Getting there is also very easy if you use Google Maps however the JR pass won’t work so you do have to get a different ticket for the line to get there! Also id recommend Inquiring Entry Admission tickets beforehand from Family Mart/7-11 or even the Nagoya station as they have special vouchers and packages for entry and spending at Nabana No Sato. I got mine at Family Mart and it saved me time from queuing up at Nabana for entry ticket which during Sakura season and evening times can get super busy! So plan ahead and have a Delightful time for sure #Japan #nabananosato
A wonderful day at Nagashima Spa Land nicely ended with first sakura of the year and great illumination shows in Nabana no Sato!

Ise Grand Shrine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Osaka Surrounding Tours Don't just know about Nara, find out where the locals in Japan go for fun
Recommended the following three destinations to introduce to everyone one by one
📍Detailed Address:
Ise Jingu Shrine
Nachi Falls
Kumano Kodo Trail
🗓Itinerary:
From Osaka, head south towards the southern coastline. Nachi Falls. Although it can't compare to the grandeur of domestic waterfalls, being just a gentle stream, the ancient temples and trees surrounding the waterfall, and the scenic mountain roads along the way, are worth experiencing. Continue along the coastline to the east, and you will find many Kumano Kodo trail markers, each serving as a scenic lookout. Further east, all the way to the seaside is the famous Ise Jingu Shrine, one of the most prestigious shrines in all of Japan. The focus is on the Edo-period architecture at the entrance of the shrine, with lots of delicious food, making it very photogenic.
⏳Play Time:
I visited in spring, a very comfortable season. Generally, spring and autumn are good times to visit anywhere.
🚉Transportation Tips:
You can fly to either Osaka or Nagoya. Then take JR or drive yourself.
💰Average Cost:
Tickets for these attractions are very cheap, or even free. It's basically just the cost of flights, hotels, car rentals, and meals.
🌟Highlights:
The natural landscape is integrated with the cultural landscape. They complement each other.

Niiname-no-Matsuri - Japanese holiday🎉
Niiname-no-Matsuri, a Japanese holiday that takes place on Nov 23, is an exciting time to visit the country.
This festival, steeped in history and regarded as an important event by the imperial family, celebrates the bountiful autumn harvest and expresses gratitude for the year's new crops, especially rice.
During this festive occasion, freshly harvested grains are dedicated at shrines to show reverence for agriculture and thankfulness towards the deities.
At the heart of the celebration is the tasting of the newly harvested rice, with the emperor himself responsible for confirming its deliciousness. Prayers and offerings are also made to the gods, seeking the nation's prosperity and well-being.

Suzuka Circuit, Japan
Because of my son, I am here.
F1 Suzuka 2023
For those who are interested in motor-racing, Suzuka in Japan is a must see event, the roars and the screams of engine and the smell of burnt petrol is just a feeling petrolheads would appreciate and understand the burning passion and desire.
Motorsports-themed theme park
An interesting amusement park specialising in motorsports. Good and fun place for kids who loves cars and bikes. Came during Golden Week and there was some kind of vehicle exhibition going on too. I was blessed with very good sunny weather that day. As I came from Tokyo and not staying here in Suzuka, would have purchased the Passport otherwise. Sufficient activities to spend the whole day here. I came just for the Circuit Challenger. Sadly, I just wished the instructions could be clearer and more detailed in order for me to obtain my S Rank for the Electric Test drive. Also take note to check the operating hours of the Circuit Challenger on their websites as it does not operate throughout the day same as the park timings. Some days they only open for 1 hour! You wouldn't want to make a wasted trip there!

For the Thrill Seeker
#weekendgetaways
If you are an adrenaline seeker by riding trill coasters, you will definitely love Nagashima Spa Land. It is just outside Nagoya. In fact, i took a bus from Meitetsu Bus Center to here in 50 minutes journey. Costing around 1200 yen.
I guarantee you will have a splendid moment here because this theme park houses too many cool yet adventerous thrill rides such as Hakugei, Steel Dragon, Twister, Acrobat and many others that will make your heart drop. but its totally enjoyable
Entry is around 5500 yen.
Nagashima Spa Land
#thingstodo
Fun place for all. There is an outlet shopping centre outside, amusement Park and Onsen. Make sure to buy a passport ticket with the entry ticket otherwise it can be very expensive. Also it comes with a free Onsen ticket. The car park costs 1000 yen on entry. Perfect for thrill seekers as this amusement park has a lot of roller-coaster rides. I was also happy to find a stall that sells Cremia -- best ice cream ever paired with lengua de gato cone.
Nagashima Spaland & Outlet✨
If you like amusement park, hotspring and shopping...include Nagashima Spaland in the list.... the airport you will fly to is Nagoya Centrair Japan... ✨

NAGASHIMA SPA LAND 🎢
At first, I actually thought it is a Spa place. I was absolutely wrong! It's an amusement park! I think it has the 3rd highest Rollercoaster in Japan, if I am not mistaken. It also includes a Water Park called Nagashima Ocean Jumbo. Therefore, I suggest that you visit it during Summer so that you may enjoy the Water Park without freezing!
