#summervacay I recently visited the Mitsugu Pet Shrine in Osaka to pray for my aging dog's continued health, and it was such a heartwarming experience! This charming little shrine is super easy to find, located right near Shinsaibashi. Just search for "Mitsugu" and it'll pop right up. It's not a huge shrine, but it's incredibly dedicated to pets. You can purchase an ema (votive prayer tablet) for ¥1,000 to draw a blessing for your pet. My artistic skills aren't the best, so I just drew something simple! They also sell a variety of adorable omamori (charms) specifically for pets. If you have beloved pets, especially older ones you wish to keep healthy, I highly recommend a visit. Today's biggest challenge was the 20th extra temple, Otaki-ji. It took 2 hours to ride up the continuous 11 km uphill section. Willpower was the driving force that kept me going. Today's route was mostly along country roads. Along the way, on riverbanks, parks, or roadside of residential areas, cherry blossoms in full bloom could be seen everywhere, which somewhat alleviated the physical fatigue. The final stop was the 10th temple, Kirihata-ji.
