This is a trip to Minnesota, USA! Staybridge Suites Rochester
Minnesota Eagan Trip! Staybridge Suites Rochester
Hello. Today, as part of my Minnesota travel news, I’d like to introduce a spacious hotel where I stayed for one evening while eating, seeing, and enjoying the scenery there.
The location is Eagan, Minnesota, and the accommodation is called Staybridge Suites, which is a 3-star hotel.
Although it is a 3-star hotel, the room condition and service,
and the breakfast were on par with a 5-star hotel. First of all, the room was incredibly spacious, just like the feeling I experienced in Hawaii.
The space was so, so wide. It is wide enough to open about 5-6 suitcases.
It was great because there was so much space throughout the room, making it perfect for families or groups of friends to visit together.
After doing some work, I just...
sprawled out on the sofa? The sofa is quite large, big enough to actually sleep on. To be honest, if you look closely, it might not be a simple, modern-style hotel, but
it has a certain antique feel and isn't *that* old-fashioned, so I can say it is a really decent place to stay for a night.
So, let's begin the full review of this accommodation.
After spending the entire morning exploring and having fun here and there, my body felt incredibly heavy before I knew it. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I opened my suitcase
and collapsed right away without even having time to unpack or recharge. If my trip to Minnesota hadn't been so fun, I wouldn't have been so tired.
During my travels, I judge whether I "had a good time playing, eating, and exploring" based on how tired I am and how much my legs hurt.
Minnesota really has so many things to see and so much food to eat. It makes me wonder, "Is this really the America I know?" It feels less like a city-oriented America and more like a greener, nature-friendly America? I think this city fits the phrase "a dreamy night" even better. Anyway, at the hotel,
I tossed my suitcase down, settled down for a nap, woke up, brushed my teeth, charged my camera, and looked around the hotel.
"Even when tired, you can't mess up the bed." I think this is a sentiment easily understood by bloggers, video creators, and anyone who reviews hotels.
This is because I didn't touch a single thing in the kitchen or bedroom and slept only on the sofa. ^^ Since the accommodation has a kitchen, you can cook your own meals.
It gives you the illusion that you have your own kitchen in your own home in the US. I wanted to cook, but unfortunately, I didn't have the time to do so.
This was a bit of a shame. Moreover, since there was even a supermarket near the hotel, it is the perfect place to buy food and cook.
Ah, it's a pity, but I decided to save cooking for next time. The photo on the right is of the bed; with its emerald green atmosphere and fluffy appearance,
I haven't actually lay down on it yet, but it gives off a comfortable vibe. (After taking the photo, I lay down and found it incredibly soft and the bedding so soft that I slept like a baby.) (I slept)
When I see the emerald atmosphere, the Taipei Mandarin Hotel comes to mind; that place also has this kind of color and feel.
The combination of beige and emerald is truly beautiful. I often think about how I should decorate my own home like this someday. ^^
When I wake up and open the window at dawn to look outside, I can see a lush green landscape. The hotel building itself isn't particularly tall,
and since there is a road right next to it, the view isn't actually that pretty, but it isn't a view where the soundproofing is poor or where you can see the road directly.
It was a view where I could see green grass. I went out for a short walk in the morning, and the air was clear, the wind was cold, and it felt refreshing.
If you go to Eagan, Minnesota, I think it would be great to stay here for a day or two to cook your own meals and look around the area.
Today, I have quite a few photos of the bedroom, but it is the prettiest, and from this exact angle, it seems to be a view that you just can't help but keep looking at.
Hotels in the US are characterized by having high frames, and while this place is also on the higher side compared to others, I was able to lie down and sleep without any discomfort. You can make a request. Even if you are short, this is about right. It is high enough to jump and lie down (short people, no need to worry).
In hotels with carpeted floors, I sometimes cough a lot due to dust, but here the carpets are well-maintained, so
I don't cough, and the room is clean and dust-free. It is a Minnesota hotel that deserves high ratings for cleanliness, service, price, location, and overall performance.
It would be perfect to come back with family or friends next time.
Also, there is a light for each of the two beds, so even if one person turns off the lights to sleep, the other can finish up their work and turn off the lights to sleep.
So, it is a system that satisfies all four people, or even both of them? ^^
Anyway, I don't usually spend this much time introducing bedrooms, but in the case of this hotel, the bedroom is so charming, unique, and full of things to talk about that it could be called the highlight.
This is the view of the bedroom bed from the living room.
Next is the bathroom/shower room.
It is a place with an antique wooden material, with a feel and design that we can easily encounter in American dramas or movies. The vanity table catches my eye. Despite being in the US, the ceiling is a bit low and cozy.
Usually, when you enter a hotel room, you find hangers and an iron near the main door, but here, uniquely,
the hangers and iron are located on the path leading to the bathtub. It made me think, "So this is the Minnesota style."
I consider it a slightly different travel destination compared to trendy places like New York, Boston, or Seattle.
If you look at the horizontal photo, there are towels near the sink, and extra bedding is placed above the hangers.
Furthermore, there are plenty of towels, enough to even be placed inside the bathroom.
Also, since there is a bathtub, it is great for filling it with warm water and enjoying a relaxing half-bath.
I highly recommend hotels with bathtubs in the US. Personally, I believe whether or not there is a bathtub plays a significant role in relieving fatigue.
Sometimes, when I am too tired, I often fall asleep in the bathtub.
Anyway, I remember this place as a hotel with a comfortable atmosphere that felt just like home.
Towels, amenities, a hairdryer, tissues, etc. are on the left.
The quality of the amenities is also... It is good, nothing particularly bothersome, and the condition is quite good.
However, it is difficult to find toothbrushes among the amenities at hotels in the US, Italy, etc. ^^
I brush my teeth quickly, thinking, "Ah... I'm glad I brought my own toothbrush and toothpaste."
In Asia, such as Taiwan, China, and Japan, many places provide toothbrushes and toothpaste,
but in Europe and the Americas, there are few places that provide them—or perhaps none at all. ^^
(Since Delta Airlines and Korean Air include toothbrushes and toothpaste in their amenities, I recommend taking those and using them at the hotel.)
The space is utilized very neatly, with extra bedding, an iron, and hangers.
How is it that even the bathroom and bathtub space are so spacious? It really makes you think, "This is definitely American scale."
If this were a Japanese hotel with the same conditions, it would be incredibly spacious, comparable to the Tokyo Conrad. Since the U.S. has such a vast landmass,
I guess hotel spaces are spacious too. ^^ Anyway, I lost track of time looking around the hotel room.
It is charming and has everything you could possibly need. Among the hotels in Minnesota, this seems to be number one in terms of spaciousness.
Next is a look at the bathroom, which doubles as a toilet and bathtub. There is one unique feature:
The shower head is fixed in place without a hose, so it hangs directly in front of your head when you stand in the tub.
In the U.S., most hotels don't have hoses, so it's a system where you naturally shower while washing your hair. ^^
According to a news article, washing your hair while standing increases the chance of getting acne on your back? Anyway, this is what America is like.
I really liked that there were so many towels, and it was great that the water in the bathtub flowed out in a gushing stream.
The quality of the amenities is also excellent. As I looked around the hotel like this, I thought that traveling to Minnesota is actually worthwhile.
While hotels are generally similar everywhere, there are some subtle differences.
If I come to Minnesota again, I hope to cook some meals at this hotel.
The reason is that I couldn't cook and ended up just sleeping and showering here, so I have a lot of regrets.
Looking out the window, you can see lush trees and grass, and the air is really clear and refreshing.
For those planning a trip to Minnesota, how about stopping by Eagan to look around the area and enjoy a relaxing night here? This is the view looking from the bedroom toward the living room. While the bedroom was cozy, the living room has a somewhat charming, cozy feel.
The way the room is packed with picture frames, sofas, and tables looks pretty. Personally, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to remove one of the tables from the living room.
There are so many tables and desks that it is difficult to squeeze in and sit down. It is so crowded that someone who has gained a lot of weight might not even be able to get in.
It is a bit hard to squeeze in, so that remains a slight regret. The day after staying here, I went to the Eagan Prince Museum in Minnesota.
He is a world-renowned singer, but he hasn't been turned into a hero in Korea... He is already a legend in the US. Anyway, it was an amazing and interesting sight that remains in my memory.
If you go to Minnesota, I highly recommend visiting the Prince Museum (it is a must if you are interested in music or American singers).
This is the view from the room at the moment the sun sets. A wistful American sunset~^^
Ah, it's so good. The Minnesota sunset was so beautiful and magnificent.
On the living room desk, there is a wonderful piece of art hanging in a frame, along with antique lighting, a telephone, and pens and notepads.
Just right here, a laptop It is the perfect space to turn on and work.
Another unique feature of the U.S. is that the lights have one or two power outlets attached to them like this.
I think I've seen this in Europe as well, but I saw it particularly often in Minnesota.
Is this also part of this country's culture? That is what I think.
Here is a close-up shot of the kitchen. What do you think? Doesn't it look like a kitchen straight out of a TV show? ^^
When you open the drawer, all sorts of food ingredients are tumbled all over the wall.
And when you open the refrigerator, there are tons of drinks. ^^ (In TV shows, double-door refrigerators are the real deal, but ^^ this one isn't double-door.)
There are no drinks inside the refrigerator, so it’s only natural, but I do think it would be nice if they at least filled it with water.
I think you need to stay for about two nights to properly enjoy this hotel while traveling in Minnesota—just go grocery shopping, put the groceries in the refrigerator, relax, have a drink, watch movies, and eat.
This is the angle of this hotel that I love the most. The bed frame has a unique shape that goes straight up, but
it blends with the lighting to create a very mysterious and wonderful atmosphere.
There were many places with better accommodations during my Minnesota trip, but I like this exact atmosphere and this angle the most.
A hotel official once told me that if there is even one space that you keep looking at, then the hotel's marketing is a success.
Anyway. I find myself thinking that this space is the most lovely part of this place.
While doing this and that, before I knew it, it was almost 10 PM.
"I should probably go to sleep now. I'll be exploring various places in Minnesota tomorrow."
With that thought, I hurried to charge my phone, finish up my tasks, send my emails, and drift off to sleep.
This is the view of the bed next to mine from where I am lying down. How wonderful would it be to come to a space like this with friends or family? I drift off to sleep thinking about it. My energy is completely depleted from looking around here and there in Minnesota.
I’m at rock bottom, but I’m happy. You could call it a happy scream. Anyway, I’ve come to think that Minnesota is a truly decent place, overflowing with subtle charms, even among all the places I’ve visited in the U.S.
I wasn't able to explain the amenities in detail earlier, but if you take a look, the quality is actually pretty good and the scent is nice.
If you happen to visit Eagan in Minnesota, I hope you’ll try to find some healing here.
