Since I was already here, I took a leisurely stroll and was captivated by Montpellier's unexpected charm. 🌆 Cityscape at Night and the Alleys of the Old Town The streets of Montpellier at night, with their lights gradually coming on, were particularly impressive, especially the alleys of the Old Town. The lack of tourists made it quiet, allowing me to truly experience the everyday French atmosphere. 🔝 Places to Visit 🖼 Pavillon Populaire If you're interested in photography, I highly recommend this place. It's a small museum, but it features high-quality photography-focused exhibitions, and admission is free. That means even the bathrooms are free! 🏰 Cathédrale Saint-Pierre The cathedral is truly magnificent. The two columns flanking the entrance leave a striking impression, and the interior exudes a calm yet majestic atmosphere. 🔽Useful Fact: Pierre (French) is Peter in English and Peter in Korean. I can't forget the paella I had at the morning market in Montpellier, France. There were several stalls set up at Place Nombre d'Or, and the paella there was really delicious...! It was made on a hot plate on the spot, and an old man piled it into a Tupperware-like container for me. The saltiness was just right, the seafood was plentiful, and there was no fishy smell, just the flavor came out. It was really, really delicious!! There was no disposable cutlery at all, so I bought straws at the supermarket and used them as chopsticks, but next time I go I think I'll bring chopsticks, spoons, and other disposable cutlery with me. The spice shop at Nice's morning market was also great! It was fun to see all kinds of things I'd never seen before, like blue salt. Just walking around is fun, so be sure to check it out!
