OguniRyojinja Shrine⛩
There are a lot of riders.
I thought so, but it's a motorcycle shrine.
The pebbles are said to be a power spot.
The sacred tree was also magnificent.
You can get a goshuin written directly on the days when the shrine office is open.
I received a written seal.
I visited in early September, but the autumn leaves are also beautiful.
Why not stop by when you're on a tour?🏍

[Shizuoka] Oguni Shrine
I went to Okuni Shrine, a shrine located in Ichinomiya, Morimachi, Shuchi District, Shizuoka Prefecture. The deity worshipped at Okuni Shrine is Oonamuchi-no-Mikoto, who is also revered as the god of good fortune and love.
It was the season for autumn leaves, so the autumn leaves were very beautiful. The contrast between the red bridge and the autumn leaves was truly beautiful.
Even though it was a weekday, it was crowded with many people.
Please go in the fall to enjoy both the autumn leaves and the shrine!

[Oguni Shrine] Warabimochi
I went to a warabimochi shop in Kotomachi Yokocho, inside Oguni Shrine in Shizuoka Prefecture!
This time I bought a medium size as a souvenir. You can enjoy two flavors, matcha and kinako♪ The matcha is made with Shizuoka matcha, and it was very rich and delicious!
It was autumn, so I was able to enjoy the autumn leaves inside the shrine.
Why not buy some warabimochi on your way back from visiting Oguni Shrine?

⛩️【Shizuoka Moricho】A Double Blessing of Love and Wealth! A Culinary and Pilgrimage Tour of Oguni Shrine, Ichinomiya, Tōtōmi Province 🍂
#JanuaryDestinations2026 In Mori-cho, western Shizuoka Prefecture, lies the revered ancient shrine known as "Totōmi-no-Ichinō" (First Shrine of Tōtōmi Province) – Oguni Shrine. It enshrines the well-known "Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto" (the god of fortune, Daikokuten, wielding a mallet), making it incredibly famous for its "love luck" and "wealth luck"! 💰❤️ Entering the shrine grounds, you'll be immediately surrounded by a vast forest of centuries-old cedar trees, the air sacred and refreshing. It's more than just a place of worship; it's like a forest park. The most stunning feature is the bustling "Kotomachi Yokochō" (Oguni-cho Alley) at the shrine entrance, where you can enjoy delicious food after your prayers – a double satisfaction for both the soul and the stomach! No wonder it's so popular in the area! 🍡
📝 Complete Shrine Visit Guide:
1. ❤️ Must-Touch the Legendary "Tree of Fate"
Deep within the shrine grounds lies a fenced-off "Hyou no Ki" (Tree of Various Fates).
This is a very rare ancient tree. Legend says that if you sincerely pray before it, your "fate" in love, work, or interpersonal relationships will be successfully connected. If you want to find a partner or seek help from a benefactor, this is a must-visit! 🌲
2. 🍡 Foodie Paradise "Oguni-cho Yokocho"
This is definitely a highlight of Oguni Shrine!
Located next to the torii gate, this shopping street sells incredibly delicious "warabi mochi," "Shizuoka matcha ice cream," and various dango (rice dumplings).
👉 Must-Buy Souvenir: The "tea jam" here is very famous. The rich tea aroma paired with bread is absolutely amazing—a unique delicacy only available in Shizuoka! 🍵
3. 🍁 Shizuoka's Best Autumn Foliage Spot
If you visit in autumn (late November to early December), this place will be so beautiful you won't want to leave!
The Miyagawa River, flowing past the shrine, is lined with thousands of maple trees. The autumn leaves are reflected on the water, and paired with the red arched bridge, the scene is the "Number One Autumn Foliage Viewing Spot in Shizuoka Prefecture"! 📸
4. 🔨 Find the "Lucky Hammer"
Because the main deity is Daikokuten, who holds a hammer, the amulets here often feature the "hammer" element.
Remember to check out the "Hammered Hammer" amulets at the shrine office. It's said that shaking one will bring good luck and wealth; buying one and hanging it on your bag will make your luck improve!

[Shizuoka Prefecture/Okuni Shrine] A shrine with over 1,460 years of history
This is an ancient shrine with a long history of over 1,460 years.
It is the Ichinomiya of Totomi Province and a highly prestigious shrine.
The deity worshipped is Okuninushi-no-Mikoto.
He is considered to be the same as Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, and there is a large mallet object in the precincts!
What caught my eye was the sacred tree, Osugi. It was a cedar tree that fell in a typhoon in 1972. The outer rings alone are said to be over 500 years old.
There is also a Moriyama-yaki bridge that crosses over to Munakata Shrine. It is a cute bridge with a mosaic-like texture, inlaid with pieces of pottery. Moriyama-yaki is a craft from Morimachi, Shizuoka Prefecture.
It is a shrine that can be enjoyed from various angles.
