#cafestory This is a nice cafe. They have a sister branch called Alter Ego in Kiulap. Cozy and quiet place, perfect for breakfast on weekdays. The menu was quite appetite zing with some brunch options, sandwiches and deserts. I just had a fantastic meal with my friends this morning. The Cajun Chicken Pumpkin Waffles from the Brunch Set was flavourful and quality ingredients were used. I will be returning with my family very soon. Highly recommended!

Bandar Seri Begawan Mosques

#summerdestinations This is also my unforgettable moment summer trip in Brunei. Bandar Seri Begawan has its own uniqueness in terms of surprising the tourist. First thing you will be surprised is in fact they almost have NO public transport in the city. Everyone has their own cat to o around the city. This one that makes me frustrated as a tourist 😆 what a thrill hahaha Secondly, you can absolutely use Singapore Dollars as well for any transaction in the country as they have signed a memorandum for both country to use SGD currency in the country that is legal. Yummy Lunch set in Coco Cafe

#hiddengems Located in Gadong Batu Bersurat. There are many choices of restaurants here. Coco Café is one of the newer and more comfortable places. The food selection is not too bad – you have choices of western and Asian dishes. Lovely ambience, love their lunch set! The lunch set is yummy and comes with a complimentary drink and salad/ soup of the day. Worth it. Great place to meet friends or simply dining with family. Highly recommended!

Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque

#exploreasia This is the first pitstop when we arrived in Brunei as it is just 10 minutes away from Brunei International Airport. Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque is a mosque in Kampong Kiarong of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is named after Hassanal Bolkiah, the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei. It is one of the two state mosques, the other Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque was established on 14 July 1994 and it is the largest mosque in the country and can accommodate 5,000 worshippers at a time. We were impressed with the design and facilities of this mosque. Very unique and have their own stories. #couplestrip #brunei

#myfoodies Mr Baker’s Bakeshop offers a more western style menu. All the food we ordered was delicious and presented nicely. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere with good jazzy/ swing music, mediocre interior and good seating arrangement. Delicious breakfast of ham with cheese, scrabble egg, croissant and salad. The breads and cakes made and sold at this premise are without preservatives. Coffee is intense, tangy and hit the mark for me. #deliciousfood #couplestrip #brunei

Nice little cafe with a relaxed and quiet vibe. Menu includes pizzas and pastas. Food choices* Unique, sourdough pizza, duck menu, cheese menu, coffee choice. Decent coffee and friendly staff. Atmosphere was good. Pretty nice place to chill with friends. It has a “private” area upstairs that can cater for about 10 people comfortably. Good for small group gathering or business gathering. They deliver authentic Korea cuisine in Brunei Darussalam. All of their food and drinks are halal, suitable for muslim or non muslims. Their Korean food quality is good and very delicious. I like their side dishes, which serve fresh and can be refilled. Gimbab, the Korean rice roll is one of the top dish that I like. Moreover, their dumpling soup with original soup also very delicious. The drink that I like the most is the Sik Hye. Their service is good and the environment is cozy and comfortable for friends and family gathering. My 2023 travel wish is going to Korea and try their locals food and drinks😍

Awesome roasted duck and pork

My favorite breakfast places in town is Yang Seng Restaurant & Catering as one of the best roast duck and pork belly in town. The roasted pork belly is good with crispy and crunchy pork skin. You need to go early morning for their popular roasted duck kolo mee or rice because usually run out before early noon. Their "yee-wat" soup or "handmade fish cake soup" is one of their signature dish. It’s worth to try it. I highly recommended this restaurant. The restaurant is located at : No: 34, Simpang: 5, Jalan Gadong, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

A nice cafe with their hearty menu features an array of Western delights with an Eastern influence. Head over here if you are looking for nice brunch cafe! We always enjoy their delicious desserts, mains and drinks. The food is wholesome, good sized meals and yummy. Their Mango Cheesecake is one of the best in town. Good ambience and table setting is basic with comfortable seating. They have indoor & outdoor seatings. You can see river and boats passing by through the windows if you are seating indoor. The cafe is situated opposite to Supa Save One Riverside branch, Brunei’s premier supermarket. I would suggest you calling in for reservation.

Not only korean food, but it even has some japanese dishes. It has a nice ambience for family, friends and even for dates. Good Korean food, they give generous side dishes to go with your meal. Prices are reasonable.

#familytrips2024 A must experience during your visit in Brunei! Full of life at night. And a huge range of stalls selling wonderful mix food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The locals are really inviting and helpful. There are also several tables where you can have your meal. We bought some durian and have it there. The durians were so yummy. Highly recommended! Our dream destination is to go to Hong Kong for my family trip as Hong Kong is paradise for food lovers, offering a wide variety of culinary delights. My family will enjoy it very much.

New Hotel in Kiulap

#familytrips2024 Very nice modern stylish room. You can control everything from the controller near your headboard. It was great staying at J Hotel Brunei and will definitely stay again if I am in Brunei. Very close to nearby restaurants and mall. The pool is on the small end but enough for a large group of swimmers. There is a small gym. Our dream destination for our family trip is China as it's rich history, diverse culture, stunning landscapes, and delicious cuisine make it a captivating place to visit.

Love the club sandwiches especially when they use their wholemeal bread. Despite the crowd, the staff was efficient and we received our food faster than expected.
