I visited the Shwedagon Pagoda during the day, but the soles of my feet were hot and difficult. Since you must enter a pagoda barefoot in Myanmar, I recommend going in the evening. Yangon boasts Kandawgyi Lake, a beloved resting place for locals. I took a bus from Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar, to Mandalay, but it took a long time and was quite tiring. Shopping at Yangon's Bogyoke Market is also fun.

When I was in Mandalay, one of the places I didn’t expect to love this much was kuthodaw pagoda 💛. People always call it the world’s largest book, but honestly, I didn’t really get what that meant until I was actually standing there, surrounded by rows and rows of beautiful white stupas 🤍. Each stupa holds a marble stone with buddhist scriptures carved on it 📖 – like pages of a giant book written in stone. It’s really something you have to see for yourself. What I loved the most was how peaceful it felt 🌿. The white stupas are perfectly lined up, and it’s just so satisfying to walk through. I went in the evening when there were almost no people, and it felt like I had the place to myself or may be the place is too big that didn't feel crowded? I don't know 😅. But it’s the perfect spot for a slow, quiet walk and some photo moments 📸. If you ever go to Mandalay, don’t skip this beautiful place. Go in the morning or evening when it’s quiet and cool and to avoid the heat. Perfect Photo Spots – Angles On Point 🔥 What I loved the most was how every angle was perfect for photos! 📸 Whether you stood at the front, the side, or climbed up a little higher, the white layers always made your pictures look stunning ✨. One of the best moments was when the local kids 👦👧 came over to help us take photos.
