Kenyan Maasai village

The Kenyan Maasai village is located in the famous Maasai Mara National Park. The entire village is very primitive, and all buildings are built with branches. In order to prevent wild animals from entering the village, a circle of thorny branches is surrounded on the outside. Most of Kenya is a plateau area, with the East African Rift Valley running from north to south, bordering Tanzania, Uganda, Somalia, etc.; the land area is 580,000 square kilometers, and the population is less than 30 million, and the indigenous people are Maasai. The Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservation Area was established in 1961, spanning the borders of Kenya and Tanzania, with an area of 1,800 square kilometers. It is the earliest wildlife conservation area in the world. However, it is worth noting that in 1961, Kenya was still in the British colonial period, and the colonial government took away the land and wildlife resources from the Maasai in the name of the country for free. In addition, the travel guide points out that the travel season of Maasai Mara is from June to October each year. During this time, the climate is pleasant and animals are active. fun to see animals of the wild up close and personal....there’s snakes that are not caged there’s also some turtles that were not in cages.... I had a lot of fun and so was everyone around me. it was really something I’d never witness before or even experienced i was so happy and glad. i would definitely visit there againnnnn the museum was filled with lots of animals and there were also life like statutes. the museum ranges from insect, mammals, reptiles, and birds. there were like hundreds of specimens to view there was also cultural Kenyan arts and outfits and a lot of information about Kenyan history

Kenya is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever travelled to. We crafted our trip mixing different experiences- Safari, unique hotel stay which was the Giraffe Manor and the encounter with the local culture. We chose Samburu as our Safari destination which was a perfect choice. After spotting the most unique species we visited the local village and were hosted by the Samburu tribe. During our Safari experience we stayed in Sasaab by the Safari Collection which was everything I ever dreamt of. The final stop of our trip was a stay in the Giraffe Manor which was just as unique as the picture show!

One of the most unique experiences I've ever had was my visit to Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya. The only way to ensure a stay here is to make sure you book months in advance! This place gets sold out so fast because of how popular it is on social media but it is so worth it!! You can experience feeding giraffes every morning during breakfast and even from your bedroom. I recommend choosing a bedroom on the top level of the house. The manor is also all-inclusive! The food is amazing as well. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust takes in orphaned and injured elephants and raises them before returning them to the wild. Every day at 10am they open and allow visitors to come and watch them being fed. Keepers tell about where and in what condition the elephants were found. You can also adopt an elephant for 50 USD each year. If you like elephants this is a must see event while in Kenya. #happynewyear #happynewyear
