DAY |Hiking → Return Trip Go hiking on the Bell Rock Loop Track, about 3 hours round trip. The scenery🧗 is expansive, but the wind on the mountain is very strong, so be careful when taking photos! From Napier, we passed through the three interesting venues. It was raining along the way however Alhamdullillah, it was not a downpour. Start your day surrounded by the wild beauty of Waipunga Falls, splash into Taupo City Centre for eats and urban fun, then cap it off at the thundering spectacle of Huka Falls—the ultimate nature-meets-town itinerary! Waipunga Falls: Must-do – stroll to the lookout for panoramic waterfall views and snap dramatic shots from the roadside car park (bring a wide-angle lens for full waterfall glory!). Taupo City Centre: Refuel at local cafés, wander boutique shops, and chill at the lakefront. Tip: parking is easiest in the Lake Terrace area, but weekends get busy! Huka Falls: Get wowed by the turquoise rush—stand on the footbridge for the best close-up shots, and don’t miss the upper viewing platforms for sweeping river photos. We cruised towards Aokautere’s rolling hills. If you’re keen to photograph hundreds of sheep against lush green paddocks, pull over at one of the safe laybys before private farm gates—early morning or late afternoon gives the best golden light. If you see a working dog in action, don’t be shy: farmers here are friendly, but stick to public paths and ask before approaching any animals. Enchanting and Beautiful Napier by its Town Centre! Yes we were so surprised as we didn't realise the beauty along the Marine Parade the other night. The garden was so beautiful. Yes, we made the right decision to visit NZ in early Spring! Some of those flowers cannot be found in Malaysia. Being in the garden with the sun came up slowly was also a wonderful experience. We took a lot of photos and videos to remember this beauty for a long time for sure. Thank you Napier.

I particularly loved the moment at dusk when I turned back to view the city: the evening light bathed the Norfolk pines and sculptures, reflecting off the buildings and seascape, creating a tranquil yet slightly romantic atmosphere. During my visit, I encountered locals jogging, cycling, and skateboarding. This platform serves as a gathering spot for everyone and a meeting point between the city and the sea. Overall, it’s not the kind of attraction that elicits constant exclamations, but rather a corner where you can take a deep breath and say, "Ahh." It’s perfect for pausing after a long walk to embrace nature and the unhurried rhythm of life by the coast.

#2月好去处2025 Rent a car and go to Mapa Park. On the way to the park, we visited the winery, which was full of vineyards and had four types of wine tasting for only NZD 15. We also passed an apple orchard on the way and saw many plump apples. Finally, we arrived at the park. The panoramic unobstructed view was really beautiful and worth a visit, but because it is left-hand drive, you have to get used to it first.
