We set off early, and the park was already bustling with visitors. 🚆 Transportation Guide (Starting from Shinsaibashi) If you're staying around Shinsaibashi/Namba, here’s how you can get there: 🚇 Option 1 (Most Convenient) Shinsaibashi → Namba (Midosuji Line, 1 stop) Transfer to Kintetsu Nara Line (Rapid Express) Approximately 40 minutes direct to "Kintetsu Nara Station" Walk about 5 minutes to Nara Park 👉 Recommended to take Kintetsu as the station exit is closest to the park. 🚆 Option 2 (JR) Namba → JR Namba Take JR Yamatoji Line to "JR Nara Station" Walk about 15 minutes 👉 You’ll have to walk a bit more. 🦌 Nara Park Experience The deer are especially lively and energetic in the morning. They’ll actively approach visitors holding deer crackers. ⚠️ Friendly Tips: Deer "nodding" actually means they want food. Keep your bags and maps safe. 📍Trip Overview This is a detailed account of a 2-night, 3-day trip to Osaka in July, packed with activities for a traveler on foot. 🚩Travel Itinerary Day 1: Arrival at Kansai Airport -> Travel to Nara 1️⃣ Feeding Deer at Nara Park - For just 100 yen, you can experience feeding the deer. There are so many deer, and they are surprisingly assertive! They might crowd around you, which can be a bit intimidating 😂. The pose in the photo signals "No more food!" but its effectiveness varies from deer to deer. - Tried the famous mochi from the most renowned shop in Nara Park, but it wasn’t to my taste. 2️⃣ Todai-ji Temple Following the path in Nara Park leads to Todai-ji Temple, which requires an entrance fee. It was too hot, so I decided to skip it. 3️⃣ Orange Japanese Home-Style Café Stopped by a café near the park to escape the heat. It was a random choice among visible options, and while it served its purpose of providing relief from the heat, the desserts were underwhelming. Lemonade, coffee jelly latte, and chocolate cake were rated ⭐️4/10. 4️⃣ Taking Photos at the Namba Glico Sign and Exploring Namba Streets 5️⃣ Sushi at Tsutenkaku Visited a sushi restaurant located at the innermost part of Tsutenkaku. There was no waiting time, and the taste was ⭐️7/10. You’ll need a translation app to order via tablet. Tsutenkaku’s night view is stunning! Highly recommend visiting at night. 6️⃣ Mega Don Quijote After dinner, returned to Namba and visited Don Quijote. It’s always an exciting place to shop, no matter how many times you go. I always buy sweet potato spread (absolutely delicious), eye drops, and Kiss Me products ☺️. 💡This itinerary involves walking over 20,000 steps a day. While it’s fulfilling and packed with activities, be prepared to sacrifice your legs! 😊

🚗Transportation: From Kintetsu Nara Station, follow the signs to reach Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and other must-visit attractions. There are vendors along the way selling deer crackers for 200 yen per pack. For those who are afraid of being surrounded or bumped by deer, it is recommended not to buy them. Even without deer crackers, you can still take photos with the deer. Lastly, I recommend the souvenir shops in the shopping street near Kintetsu Nara Station. They have delicious red bean cakes and black soybean tea.
