The roads that stretch through the valley are curvy and wind back and forth through the landscape. One of the most amazing things in the park are the petroglyphs. Some of them date back to around 4000 years ago. It is believed that the natives used the land to hunt and hold religious ceremonies. Many people find the name "Death Valley" scary, but it is actually one of the largest national parks in the US (excluding Alaska). It is also the lowest, hottest, and driest place in the continental US, combining a variety of world-class extremes! Standing on the endless white salt flats, it’s hard to imagine you are below sea level. (National Geographic) ✔️ Otherworldly landscapes This place isn’t just desert. It features salt flats, colorful hills, canyons, sand dunes, volcanic craters, and more. You can see completely different terrains in just one day, which is truly breathtaking. For a truly special occasion, we booked the VIP night flight with Treasure Tours of Nevada – and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was excellently organized from start to finish. We were picked up directly from our hotel, comfortably transported to the airfield, and given a thorough safety briefing. After a short wait, we were off. For those who might find it overwhelming, there are easier ways to digest the content through more condensed presentations. My favorite parts were the exploration of pop culture connections and discussions about the effects these topics had on nearby residents and American culture as a whole. The Fallout exhibit was a delightful experience and served as a fun bonus at the end of the main museum tour. There’s even a small Fallout-themed scavenger hunt. While I certainly wished the Fallout exhibit had been larger, I understand the limitations due to space. Overall, I’m really glad I visited.
