I followed the woodland paths alongside the river, surrounded by towering trees, moss-covered rocks, and the sound of flowing water. The further I walked, the more peaceful the landscape became. I stopped several times to enjoy the small waterfalls and beautiful river views, and the fresh woodland air made the experience even better. What I loved most was how natural and secluded everything felt, despite it being a popular walking destination. It was the kind of place where I could slow down, explore at my own pace, and simply enjoy nature. Watersmeet definitely deserves a place on my #bucketlistdestinations list.

#bucketlistdestinations Visiting Heddon Valley in Devon felt like walking into a peaceful natural escape. I followed the trail through the wooded valley, with the river running nearby and green hills rising on both sides. As I continued toward the coast, the landscape gradually opened up and revealed dramatic views of the sea. I stopped along the way to enjoy the waterfalls, woodland scenery, and fresh countryside air. The walk was especially rewarding because the scenery kept changing from forest to valley to rugged coastline. I took plenty of photos, but the peaceful atmosphere was my favorite part. Heddon Valley felt like a true hidden adventure and definitely belongs on my #bucketlistdestinations list.

#bucketlistdestinations My experience exploring Heddon Valley was exactly what I wanted from a countryside adventure. I walked beneath tall trees, followed the river through the valley, and enjoyed the sound of running water along the trail. The deeper I went, the more peaceful the surroundings became. Eventually, the path led toward the rugged North Devon coast, creating an amazing contrast between the green valley and open sea. I spent time taking pictures, exploring the trail, and simply enjoying the quiet surroundings. It was refreshing to visit somewhere where nature was the main attraction. Heddon Valley gave me one of those simple but unforgettable travel days that I would happily repeat. #bucketlistdestinations

#bucketlistdestinations My visit to Watersmeet was one of my favorite nature experiences in Devon. I spent the day walking through lush woodland trails with the river constantly guiding the way. Along the route, I discovered rushing streams, rocky pools, little cascades, and beautiful viewpoints hidden among the trees. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, with birdsong and running water replacing the noise of everyday life. I took plenty of photos, but the scenery was even better in person because of the peaceful atmosphere surrounding it. Watersmeet reminded me that a bucket-list adventure doesn't always need to be somewhere famous or far away. Sometimes, a quiet woodland valley can create the most memorable travel moments. #bucketlistdestinations

North Devon was a delight when beautiful scenery, gorgeous views and delicious food. With our base being Combe Martin we were able to take short drives out to Barnstaple, Wollacombe and Lynton and Lynmouth. Would definitely recommend a trip to Lynton and Lynmouth as it was beautiful. The cliff rail can’t be missed neither can the Glen Lyn Gorge. Wollacombe had a fantastic sandy beach which was just a fabulous way to spend as much time as you want. Would advise a trip to Barricane beach and let you find the surprise yourself. Places near Combe Martin that we would advise to visit to eat: · sawmills · pack o cards · black and white fish shop

This place has the most amazing walks through woodland flora and fauna and follows the River Lyn above Lynmouth and Lynton with picturesque waterfalls. if you like wild swimming, you can walk down from the carpark to the long pool where the water is cool and clear. Another bonus is the national trust cafe on site, which offers refreshments and the most amazing light textured home made scones. We will certainly be returning.

Great hike through a scenic track, followed by a secluded sea swim at the end. What a chilled out day. Bliss. 😎

#getgoing2025 Woolacombe Sands, Devon With two and a half miles of golden beach backed by voluminous dunes and fronted by rolling Atlantic breaks, Woolacombe Sands is a surfer's paradise. It is one of the most popular beaches in Britain, and with such fantastic water conditions, is a great place to take the family. The nearest town is Ilfracombe. Where to stay near Woolacombe Sands Broomhill Art Hotel in nearby Muddiford is a hotel set in an expansive contemporary sculpture garden, with five simple, comfortable rooms and a restaurant.

Braunton Burrows. July 2024. The Sand dunes here go for miles and miles. Absolutely Beautiful ❤️ Great for a walk with the dogs, a picnic, or even bring your sledge to slide down the dunes.
