🏨🌟Agape Art Villa Hotel
📍Via della Torre del Gallo, 8-10 Tuscany Region, Italy
This hotel is like a hidden gem nestled in the hills, about a 10-minute drive from the city center. The hotel offers a free shuttle service connecting to several popular spots like Piazzale Michelangelo and Ponte alle Grazie, which is super convenient! The nearby Piazzale Michelangelo is a must-visit in Florence, perfect for watching the sunset or enjoying panoramic city views. The hotel itself is located on a hillside, offering a prime and quiet location, making it a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Transportation to major city attractions is also very convenient.
🏰🌸At first glance, you’ll be captivated by this villa! The hotel is converted from a historic monastery, featuring classic Italian architecture paired with an ultra-romantic garden that honestly looks like a movie set. The garden is huge, with over 7 acres of greenery, hidden seating areas for private moments, and olive trees with misty mornings that feel like a fairy tale. The front desk staff are very thoughtful at check-in, providing detailed info about the shuttle bus schedule and services, and even gave us a tour of the main parts of the hotel—very friendly! There’s also a garden-view terrace, perfect for relaxing with an afternoon coffee.
🛏️🍃The rooms immediately give a quiet and cozy vibe upon entering. Each room features vintage-style furniture but with very modern amenities, including a minibar and flat-screen TV, so nothing is outdated. The beds have comfortable down comforters and Italian Frette linens, making for a super comfy sleep that truly helps you relax. The bathrooms are simply decorated but fully equipped, perfect for a relaxing soak. I especially loved the large rain shower design—it’s very soothing. Every day, clean bottled water and slippers are provided, showing great attention to detail.
🌟🍴Breakfast here is also a highlight! It’s a buffet with a super rich selection, from fresh juices and honey to bacon and eggs, everything you could want. Vegetarian options are also easy to find, and the ingredient quality is excellent, making it a real treat! If you’re too tired to go out for dinner, you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant, which tastes fantastic.
🚶♂️🎨Besides the hotel’s beauty, the surrounding area is rich in cultural atmosphere. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Piazzale Michelangelo, highly recommended for sunset views that are absolutely stunning! If you get hungry, there are nearby restaurants like Osteria Lucignolo and Boccanegra, traditional Italian spots full of authentic flavors. After staying a few nights, you’ll find classic photo spots nearby like the Florence Cathedral (Duomo) and the Uffizi Gallery. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a charming vibe, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
✨Leaving Florence, I really felt reluctant to go. Villa Agape not only offers breathtaking scenery and atmosphere but also super reliable and comfortable service. It’s absolutely the top choice for visiting Florence, and you’ll never get tired of coming back here 💖
