From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive, creating a smooth check-in process. The hotel’s central location made it ideal for exploring Nottingham’s city centre, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. It's just a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Royal Concert Hall, a 7-minute walk from the shops at Victoria Centre and an 11-minute walk from Nottingham Castle. The chic wood-furnished room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with a very cozy bed and thoughtful amenities like complimentary water, a good-sized desk, TVs, stereos, minibars, and tea/coffee making facilities, and quality toiletries. The blackout curtains and quiet atmosphere made for a great night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, a wide selection of both hot and cold items, fresh fruit, and great coffee. I also enjoyed a few drinks at the bar while catching up with friends. I really appreciated their gym, indoor pool and spa facilities, which were well-maintained and offered a relaxing break during my trip. Overall, the Crowne Plaza Nottingham delivered excellent service, comfort, and convenience. The estate behind the school is huge. There are large tracts of grass and it seems that there are people playing golf there. There are a lot of deer 🦌. I only understood why I had to stand 50 meters away when I saw them coming towards me. I was so scared that I quickly ran away. Hahahaha. There are so many cherry blossom trees in the city of Nottingham. Who can tell the difference between Nottingham and Japan? But the deer in Nottingham are much stronger than those in Kyoto. They seem to be the same species. The cherry blossoms in front of the school clock tower 🏫 are absolutely beautiful and dense. Even cloudy days do not affect the visual impact. The city center is also much larger than that of an average British town. The trams and triangular buildings make me dream of Shanghai. I used to disdain the geographical location and environment when choosing a school. Now I know how important they are. After all, going to school is not everything in life.

The art collection is really impressive, with a great mix of classic and modern works. We were lucky to catch the Claude Monet exhibition! Seeing Monet’s work up close, along with paintings from other famous Impressionist artists like Renoir and Pissarro, was an incredible experience. The history exhibits are just as good. The museum does a great job of telling Nottingham’s story, from medieval times to the present. There’s lots about Robin Hood, the castle’s past, and even some underground caves to explore! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s easy to walk around, and there’s plenty to see without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re visiting Nottingham, this museum is a must-see! Whether you love art, history, or just exploring cool places, you won’t be disappointed.
