Escape to Santorini's Caldera Views
As I stood on the edge of the mesmerizing Santorini Caldera in the delightful town of Oia, I was captivated by the enchanting views that unfolded before my eyes. The white-washed buildings cascading down the cliffside, adorned with colorful bougainvillea, created a picture-perfect setting that seemed to be straight out of a dream.
Exploring the narrow winding streets of Oia, I stumbled upon hidden gems, boutique shops, and charming cafes that beckoned me to sit and soak in the stunning scenery. The local cuisine was a treat for my taste buds, with fresh seafood and delectable Greek delicacies leaving me craving for more.
Sunsets in Santorini are legendary, and I was lucky enough to witness one from the famous Oia Castle. As the sky turned into a canvas of vibrant hues, I could feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. It was a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime.
For those planning a visit to Santorini, I recommend exploring beyond Oia as well. The island offers breathtakingly beautiful beaches, such as the Red Beach and Kamari Beach, where you can unwind and bask in the Mediterranean sun. Exploring the ancient ruins of Akrotiri and visiting the traditional wineries to taste the renowned Santorini wine are also must-do experiences.
However, it's important to note that the popularity of Santorini means that it gets crowded, especially during peak tourist season. To avoid the crowds, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons or planning your activities early in the morning.
In conclusion, my trip to Santorini's Caldera Views in Oia was nothing short of magical. From the awe-inspiring views to the delectable cuisine, this destination truly lives up to its reputation as a paradise on earth. So, pack your bags, leave your worries behind, and embark on an unforgettable journey to Santorini's Caldera Views. #SantoriniEscape #BreathtakingViews #GreekParadise

Between blue and white, the land of gods | Santorini, Greece
Come and see the holy island🏖️
Santorini is most famous for its sunset🌄
The sunset bathes the entire holy island in golden light
Sitting on the roof watching the sunset, a little cat suddenly came by my side🐈
It rubbed against me and then snuggled up next to me
Because of its company, the wind of the Aegean Sea has added a bit of romance
The photos were taken in the town of Oia📸
Greece in February is off-season, basically no one, your company is probably some cats and dogs, but the photos are very good!! If it's not windy, a thick coat is enough for the weather in the teens. Local taxis can't swipe cards, remember to bring some cash. By the way, the daytime may disappoint you, but the scenery is really beautiful at sunset🎨 If you book a homestay with an outdoor hot spring, soaking in the hot spring and looking at the starry sky above your head is really so happy🥰

Ammoudi Cove Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Ammoudi is the charming port of Oia in Santorini, a tiny settlement with just a few traditional buildings built around the natural bay. In Ammoudi, there are port services and a few taverns. Several fishing and tour boats moor there during the summer, creating a very picturesque scenery.
Ammoudi is encircled by the impressive high red cliffs and it is considered the most picturesque area of Santorini. Approximately 300 narrow and steep steps lead the way between Ammoudi and Oia. A small rocky beach stands right next to Ammoudi, ideal for snorkeling. Several tour boats stop in Ammoudi on the way to Thirassia islet and the famous volcano.

Golden Sunset Villa Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Looking through the travels of Santorini, you will definitely see an iconic building - a white windmill, in fact, it is also a hotel - Golden Sun.
Golden Sun is located in Oia town, the closest to the sunset, close to the parking lot, eliminating the hassle of dragging luggage on the stone road.
The hotel has a lot of room types, but there is only one windmill room, I am honored to be booked by me. The
room is divided into three floors, the living room and kitchen on the first floor, the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor and the attic on the third floor. Compared to the appearance of the mirror, the interior is somewhat old.
The biggest advantage of living in Golden Sun is that you can take a photo with the windmill! Very good!
The only downside is that during the day there are always tourists taking pictures of the windmill, especially at sunset, the balcony sitting in front of the windmill will be somewhat disturbed.

Celebrating Chinese New Year in Greece
The best gift is companionship, this is the second travel note with parents. This time the scale is larger, not only with my own parents, but also with my girlfriend (nickname Little Aunt, my old travel partner) and her parents. The whole trip cost less than CNY13000 per person, this time I can finally keep accounts myself.
Actually, when booking the tickets, I never thought that winter in Greece is a rainy season. I was absent-minded, thinking isn't this the southern part of Europe? After booking, I found out it's a rainy season, but since we're here, we might as well enjoy it. There are ways to enjoy the off-season. In the end, I was under the halo of the little sun, feeling the sunshine of Santorini and Athens.
This article recommends excellent shooting points in Santorini and detailed locations, as well as Greek bloody myths and interspersed Athens attractions. I'll write slowly, you read slowly.
Thanks to mom and dad, they cooperated all the way, worthy of always following me on free trips. Thanks to Little Aunt, after all, she is an old partner, a super good travel partner. Thanks to Dad Lu, following the old master, I learned a little more about photography. Thanks to Mom Lu, the main chef, the mashed potatoes are top-notch.
Santorini's winter also has sunny days
Santorini's sunset and sunrise
Ia is beautiful no matter how you shoot it
National Geographic magazine's shooting location
Six people walking
Mom and dad watching the sea at Perissa Beach, the same action as last time in Taiwan
Wine tasting at the Santorini winery
And the real people on the island, the ubiquitous Meow Star people
Poseidon's Temple in Sounion, another good sunset
Two groups of mom and dad together
National Archaeological Museum of Athens, definitely worth a day's visit
Recommended photo spots in Santorini (detailed location)
The biggest advantage of traveling in winter is that there are fewer people, but the disadvantage is that the weather is cold and rainy, but this time I was lucky. In Santorini, for a total of four whole days, only the afternoon of the arrival day was rainy. The rest of the weather was not bad, one of which was a completely sunny day. Santorini under the blue sky and Santorini on a cloudy day are not the same place at all. As long as there is sun, Santorini is a place where you can take beautiful pictures at will.
The good photo spots are basically concentrated in Oia, in addition to the blue dome church in Firostefani that became popular because of National Geographic magazine. In fact, there are many large and small blue dome churches on Santorini.
Sunset viewing platform
Oia on Santorini is definitely the best place to watch the sunset. Recommend two places for sunrise
Byzantine Castle Ruins
GPS:36.460110,25.372734
This is the viewing platform very close to our homestay (the accommodation will be talked about later), not only the sunset is beautiful, but the sunrise is also highly recommended. But it is recommended to live next to this, otherwise you have to catch the last bus in winter, and there is no hope for watching the sunrise in the morning
The sunrise, sunset and scenery shot from the perspective of the viewing platform
The castle seen from the cafe, the location is really good
On the castle
A photographer who is dressed strangely early in the morning (it's really cold in the morning and evening)
Oia’s sunset
Oia's sunset (there is no specific building, refer to GPS for specific location)
GPS:36.461819,25.375311
The sunset here can be shot with three blue domes as the background. This place is relatively close to the bus station in Oia. This place itself is also a good place for portrait shooting.
It's a pity that the weather was not good that day.
Peter North broke in behind a few days during the day and went again, a dog with a super sense of lens, the last day to watch the sunrise also came to get close to me
