Okinawa's Ryūkyū Dance Culture Experience
#folkactivities #tradition #costume
Experiencing Okinawa's Ryūkyū Dance became even more immersive when I dressed in traditional attire. Adorning myself in the vibrant, ornate costumes added a personal connection to the culture.
The intricate patterns and colors not only made me feel like part of the performance but also deepened my appreciation for the artistry involved.
Yotsudake is one of the traditional Ryukyu dances. The dancers wear a flower shaped hat, and a bingata kimono. They hold a pair of instruments similar to castanets which are made from four (yotsu) pieces of bamboo (take). They clap the yotsudake in time to the music.
As I moved, I could feel the rhythm of the music and the spirit of the dance, making it a truly unforgettable way to engage with Okinawa's rich folk traditions.
This hands-on experience allowed me to grasp the significance of the dance and its role in celebrating the island's history and community.

Ryukyu culture
#2023travelwish
This is the Ryukyu mura, a traditional Okinawan village located in Okinawa~ It takes approximately an 80 minute bus ride from Naha to reach there. Of course driving will be much more convenient🫣 It is a theme park where you can enjoy handicrafts, learn how to play a traditional instrument called the sanshin guitar. There are also traditional performances which are fun and interesting to watch! It’s definitely worth a visit~
I wish I can learn more of the different traditional cultures in Japan~

There’s a short footpath from the car park that takes you to a few scenic spots along the cape — just squeeze through the crowds of tourists on a snorkeling/diving tour. Very nice sea scenery against the rugged rock formations.
#GiveThanks
Cape Manzamo is a scenic rock formation on Okinawa Island, Japan. It is located near Onna Village in the Kunigami District of Okinawa Prefecture. Cape Manzamo is one of the most popular places among both Japanese and international travelers who visit Okinawa Island.
#GiveThanks
In addition to punching famous scenic spots, Okinawa Travel can also do their homework in advance, and specially catch up with the local summer fireworks festival!
In addition to the fireworks that seem to fall in front of you, there are N games in the Japanese drama, such as fishing goldfish, hanging bread Superman, Japanese-style stone scissors and other games waiting for the children!
Experience the local culture and visit the local market. Is this trip more memorable?
Although my sister has a fever, it is rare to travel in Japan. How can I miss the summer fireworks festival! I also wore a yukata together and went to the local lively festival with my friends. My sister played the game and won a big stick.
[cp] It is by the sea, above the cliff, shaped like an elephant's nose, but it is a grassland that can accommodate thousands of people. This is the 10,000-seat wool of Okinawa, Japan. It is the location of the Hong Kong film "Love Okinawa" and has become the place where most Okinawa games must be played.
This is not very big. I drove to the parking lot and walked for five minutes. The opposite is the tens of thousands of hairs that look like elephants and noses. Looking down, the sea is slap on the reef, and there is a piece of it. The waves of the film, there are many people coming here, from the entrance to the exit is a line, you can go out slowly along the crowd.
Dive in the Blue Cave, meet the beautiful Blu-ray world
to the nearest place to the sea, is to sneak into its embrace.
Want to get in touch with the ocean, why not go to the bottom of the sea to see?
There is a kind of blue, called Okinawa Blue, translucent and clean, undeveloped original ecology, making people unforgettable. As the most suitable island for all-neon diving, Okinawa has excellent diving sites on both the island and the outlying islands, making it a favorite among divers worldwide. Here is the flow of the world's largest warm current "black tide", so the nature of the seabed is more abundant than other sea areas, and you can see the footprints of human beings.
Okinawa can dive all year round, although the winter is still colder, but the humpback whale only appears in winter, this eye, you still don't see it? And the visibility in winter will be better, and the summer should pay attention to avoid the typhoon season from August to September.
Arrival: Arrive at Zhenrong Tianyu and walk in the direction of the sea. There are not many roads here, and the direction is unified to the beach.
Diving cost: more than 700
time, the latest diving time before 1pm
#Okinawa Travel# ## ##
There is a place in the northeast of Naha, called Wanzao Mao. The meaning of Wanmao Mao is that it can accommodate the grassland of thousands of people. Wanmao is on a cliff on the beach. You should pay attention to it. It is often very windy. Sometimes you stand on the edge of the cliff and even stand still. Steady, but it is beautiful.
TIPS:
There are two Okinawa's most acclaimed churches for weddings: Corvetta Coralvita Chaoral & Ai Kulu Church Chapel & Aquiluce Chapel,
My favorite is Aquace, also known as the Church of the Water. Aqua means water, Luce means light, as its name suggests, from the warm sun shining into the altar of floor-standing glass up to 10 meters high, the blue sky is connected with the ocean, through a well-designed angle Let the ocean in front of the altar look more beautiful and magnificent. The entire church is in the shape of a shell.

Experience tropical vibes in Okinawa this winter.
🌊 Moon Beach Hotel is waiting for you to explore! 🏖️
🌞 In winter, when the north is covered in snow, I choose to fly to Okinawa to find my own tropical paradise. Moon Beach Hotel is my warm haven in winter.
🏨 As soon as I stepped into Moon Beach Hotel, I was attracted by its strong tropical atmosphere. The hotel is designed with ocean elements, from the blue decorations in the lobby to the ocean-themed murals in the rooms, every corner makes you feel like you are in an underwater world.
🛋️ My room is spacious and bright, and I can see the blue sea directly from the balcony. Every morning, when the first ray of sunshine shines into the room, I know it will be a beautiful day.
🏊♂️ The outdoor swimming pool is my favorite place. Although it is winter, the warm climate in Okinawa allows the pool to remain open. I put on my bikini and swam in the clear pool water, as if the whole world was just me and this blue.
🍽️ Speaking of food, the restaurant at Moon Beach Hotel is definitely worth a try. Fresh seafood and authentic Okinawan cuisine, every dish is unforgettable. Especially the hot Okinawa ramen, with its rich broth and chewy noodles, is simply the perfect winter comfort food!
🌙 At night, I lay on the hotel's beach, counting the stars in the sky, listening to the sound of the waves hitting the shore, and feeling the peace and beauty. At this moment, time seems to stand still, leaving only me and the sea.
🌈 If you also want to escape the cold in winter and find a warm island paradise, then Moon Beach Hotel is definitely your best choice! 🏖️🌞✨

Relaxing Trip at Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa
Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa, which opened in 2018, is a relatively new hotel. It is Hyatt's first beach resort in Japan. The location is simply amazing♡ Seragaki Island and the main island are connected by a single bridge, making the entire island a beautiful resort surrounded by the sea. What I particularly liked was the pool. You can have a relaxing time floating in the infinity pool while gazing at the distant sea🛟✨

No Goodbyes to the Sun | Okinawa Travel Guide Part 1 (Food and Attractions)
Although the weather is getting cooler, Okinawa still has warm sunshine and a charming ocean. If you love the southern style, water activities, food, and leisure vacations, this treasure destination for family and couple trips is definitely not to be missed! Next, I will recommend some must-visit attractions in Okinawa. Take notes! ^_^
[Makishi Public Market]
Makishi Public Market, located in the center of Naha City, is one of the largest markets in Okinawa. It has everything you need, from seafood, meat, and fruits to vegetables, making it a feast for the eyes. The market is bustling with activity. We tasted delicious ice cream and Okinawan-style meat snacks here, which were rich in flavor and simply intoxicating! There are also many fresh ingredients in the market. If you can cook where you live, it would be great to buy some and show off your cooking skills in the evening! Enjoy the fun of making your own food!
[American Village]
American Village is a large entertainment and shopping center full of American style, located in Chatan Town, Okinawa Prefecture. Here, you can find restaurants, shops, and amusement facilities, and the strong exotic atmosphere makes you feel like you are on the streets of America. Here, we tasted juicy American burgers 🍔, sitting on the outdoor seats by the sea, enjoying the sea breeze, and feeling like we were in Hawaii 🌺. The burgers were extremely rich in taste, and the meat juice was delicious, making it unforgettable. In addition to food, there are many photo spots here, just like the streets of Europe and America, which will definitely make your photos stand out in your social media and receive countless compliments!
[Ryukyu Mura]
Ryukyu Mura is a theme park showcasing Ryukyu culture, located in Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture. It has traditional architecture, handicraft demonstrations, and wonderful Ryukyu dance performances. Walking in Ryukyu Mura is like traveling back to the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom, and the strong historical atmosphere is fascinating. There are not only rich cultural experiences but also costume and handicraft experiences. Here, Junjun chose a bright red costume and wore it to wander around the "Ryukyu Kingdom" to experience the charm of traditional culture. In addition, we also visited the beautiful butterfly garden, where there are many rare butterflies 🦋, some of which are hatching, making it especially suitable for students and family study tours, as it allows you to appreciate the beauty of nature and broaden your horizons.
To be continued, stay tuned!
