Oamaru is a town on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand. In the mid-to-late 19th century, a large number of European immigrants came to Oamaru, developing agriculture and animal husbandry, which led to the prosperity of this small town, gradually becoming the main port city of that time. Oamaru is rich in white limestone, and most of the buildings from its early prosperous period were constructed with local white stone. The town has many well-preserved New Zealand historical buildings, most of which are concentrated in the Oamaru Historic District, that is, on Harbour Street. Harbour Street and Tyne Street are where the Oamaru Victorian architecture cluster is located. #wheretogo Coronet Peak boasts stunning views and is about 30 minutes from Queenstown. We took the Gondola to the top of the mountain. The ski resort was great with hiring facilities, cafe and lockers. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have plenty of space for first time and novice skiers and snowboarders. It was my first time skiing and it was fun (although i kept landing on my butt). Anyway, if you are not into skiing, you can just enjoy the gondola ride, soak up the views & enjoy a hot cup of coffee.

Compared with the great fame of Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea seems so obscure, and the tourists by the lake are twos and threes. We can quietly watch a good sunset in the huge cinema in this world. Behind the top of the mountain, the sunset glows like a pink marshmallow. This time I have a house like a castle in the small town of Lake Hawea. It is very close to the lake, the living area is spring, and the pink cherry blossoms bloom. Compared to Wanaka's excitement, it is a lot quieter here. In the morning, the landlord prepared breakfast. The weather was fine, the sun was shining on the table, and we looked at the snowy mountains outside the window. In comparison, Wanaka is really a lot of people, and here is a pure world, which makes people want to be happy.
