Daily itinerary notes:
Days 1-2:
Fly from Shanghai to Helsinki, then transfer to Reykjavik. After a brief city tour, head to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, known as the "Iceland in Miniature," to visit attractions like Hat Mountain and sea cliffs, starting your journey of natural wonders.
Day 3:
Explore the three wonders of the Golden Circle: Þingvellir National Park (rift between the Eurasian and American tectonic plates), Gullfoss waterfall, and Strokkur geyser. Taste the special Icelandic lamb soup.
Day 4:
Visit Vatnajökull National Park, experience the stunning Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Diamond Beach, and join a guided blue ice cave hiking adventure (weather permitting).
Day 5:
Tour Vik black sand beach, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, and relax in the famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa in the afternoon to wash away fatigue.
Days 6-7:
Fly to Oulu, Finland, and the next day head to Kemi to join the icebreaker ship tour, experience floating in the icy sea (for eligible participants), then proceed to Rovaniemi.
Day 8:
Visit Rovaniemi Santa Claus Village, cross the Arctic Circle to receive a certificate, take photos with Santa Claus, and stay overnight in a Lapland-themed hotel.
Day 9:
Travel to Sweden, experience reindeer sleigh rides at a reindeer farm, and visit Kiruna’s unique Icehotel.
Days 10-12:
Explore the Lofoten Islands, known as a "fairyland on earth," travel along the E10 highway to visit stunning fishing villages like Reine and Å, and join a troll fjord cruise to admire the magnificent fjord scenery.
Day 13:
Take a cable car for panoramic views of Tromsø, participate in a king crab hunting tour, taste fresh crab legs, and enjoy dinner in an excellent aurora viewing area.
Days 14-15:
Stroll around Tromsø city, then return to Shanghai via Helsinki, concluding the trip.
