Although the steel bridge over the Pai River is no longer in use, replaced by a concrete bridge, it remains a lively historical monument. Tourists love capturing memorable photos of its dark green steel structure contrasting with the scenic Pai River and surrounding fields. A must-visit spot in Pai.
🏡 Bura Lumpai: A riverside accommodation, restaurant, and café near the Tha Pai Historical Bridge. The name "Bura Lumpai" means "a place of flowers by the Pai River." If you visit the historical bridge, don't forget to stop by for coffee or drinks in a serene atmosphere surrounded by mountains. The accommodation offers a peaceful retreat.
🗾 Kong Lan (Pai Canyon): A natural attraction formed by soil erosion on high mountains, creating deep grooves resembling cliffs. Not suitable for those afraid of heights, as the paths are narrow and very high. The soil here is red and loose, requiring caution to avoid slipping. Despite the challenges, the breathtaking views and lush greenery of mixed deciduous and pine forests make it worth the visit. The entrance fee is 10 THB per person.
🕍 Wat Nam Hoo: An ancient and historically significant temple in Pai, believed to have been built by King Naresuan to house the ashes of Princess Suphankalaya. The temple also features Luang Por Un Muang, a 500-year-old Chiang Saen Lanna-style Buddha statue. 🙏

The highlight is climbing over 300 steps to pay homage to the large white Buddha statue, Phra Phuttha Lokutramaha Muni, atop the hill. The effort is rewarded with stunning views. The temple features a blend of Lanna and Burmese architecture, including a beautiful 3-meter-high bell-shaped Burmese-style stupa.

The entrance fee is 20 THB per person.
🛖 Santichon Village: A Thai destination with a Chinese vibe, this village is a cultural center for Yunnan Chinese hill tribes who settled in Thailand. Now a tourist village, it resembles Rak Thai Village. The area features clay houses selling various products, mainly tea, along with snacks, plums, nuts, charms, and souvenirs. Visitors can rent Chinese costumes for photos, starting at 100 THB for both men and women.
